King Island PR rep. gives a hint
I recently emailed Jennifer Bowers about Kings Islands new ride, and mentioned how us at Coasterbuzz had recently been discussing the 2002 attraction at Kings Island...and that with the information presented to me by my fellow forum participators...I have made my conclusion that it will be a coaster of fairly large proportions and will be themed to Tomb Raider. the park at that time, I would recommend you be near the Front Gate. Then
you will be among the first to know. Now, following that only the media are

I think I'll be there too! Hopefully. I'm crossing my fingers that the millionth rider on SOB means announcing the addition of tunnels to the coaster. Let's only hope.

FYI: Sort of on the edge of Rivertown, across from the Vortex, between the Flying Scooters and the The Beast entrance, there is a restroom building up on the hill next to the abandoned auto ride.
In front of that rest room building is a group of pay phones.
One of those pay phones is equipped with a data port. :)

Doesn't PKI have those "Get your picture taken and email it to a friend" booths? If that's the case, just take a tablet and pencil, write what the announcement is, take a picture, and email it to your best buddy back at home.
...Yeah, I know. Why do that when you can just email 'em?

sigh i guess i will do what one person did make a roller coaster in RCT and invite self, sigh ohh how i wish i lived by cincy and had a leather wallot. ohhh well there is always X's opening.

Just got back from the park. Preparation is under way. A large wall type sign/presentation (I really do not know what to call it) has been erected between the fountains and the PKI sign at the entrance of International Street. So large that it blocks most of the fountain view. The ends are covered with blue tarps, wonder what they are covering. The center section forms 3 walls of a room. The walls are painted to represent rock walls. All tubular supports are painted to represent wooden poles. Is it starting to sound familiar to any body? This thing is more elaborate than the Son of Beast shaking crate. It appeared to have another section to bolt to the top sometime. They were also working up in the International Restaurant today. I will be there monday with camera in hand. See you all monday.
