"Saying "Youve never been there before and why are you saying they dont have good rides" is not an opinion last time i checked. That would be a statement and a question, and the only reason I called him a smart*****is because he always makes smart*****comments in lots of threads."
So give me 5 GOOD reasons why you think I'm such a "smart ***."
And link the "smart ***" comments to a post in this forum.

" Intamin Giga Coaster "."
Yeah, but the GP probably thinks Intamin is the last name of an old park owner and the park is honoring him. Like they name streets after presidents and stuff.

Bull rides: 81
Shockwave rides: 55
I don't think a GP person would see the "Intamin Giga Coaster." You have to take a close look at it and a GP person wouldn't know what a giga-coaster is.

I'd like a tall CCI out and back, and a grande nonfat Latte to go please!
Besides, SFWoA will probably get one anyway because SF is tryint to compeat with CP and wants bigger "bucks" made in their parks.

Why are you saying I'm such a "smart ***?" I don't think Jeff likes people using bad words.
Why do you always cry to Jeff.
I apologize for making a big deal about stupid crap in this thread.
Back on track here, I agree with 2Hostyl here and I think that people sometimes make the GP out to be stupider than they actually are (I said sometimes...not all the time!). Intamin's track has such a distinctive look that if SFWoA built an Intamin hyper, much of the GP would realize that their coaster has the same track and trains as MF, and if the ride was not as tall, would instantly dismiss it as a cheap MF imitation. I can hear it now while waiting in line for this new ride: "Well this ride is pretty much like Millennium Force but not as tall, so it's not as good." One thing the GP generally does think is that bigger means better. Why else would parks be trying to break records with their rides?
I have an example to back this claim up. While waiting in line for Batman: The Ride at SFGAm, one of my non-enthusiast friends looked at it and said that it was just a wussy version of the Raptor. Now even though after the ride he agreed that it wasn't even close to a wussy ride, he said he liked Raptor better because it was taller, faster, and longer. I can see people doing the same thing if WoA builds an Intamin hyper.
Now, if they built an Intamin hyper with an Expedition Ge-Force style 90 degree twisting drop, that would change some things, for the ride would have something MF doesn't have, and the GP would eat it up.
Personally, I don't think Intamin is even in the question (and personally I think Intamin would make SFWoA the best hyper too). I did not see the Fox 8 broadcast which showed the proposed layout, but from what I read on here, it seems to be an out-and-back, which pretty much means it will be either a Chance-Morgan or a B&M. I think B&M would be a wise choice because I think that just as the GP would dismiss a smaller Intamin as a MF rip off, they would also dismiss a Morgan hyper as a Magnum rip off. Remember, SFWoA's target crowd has pretty much spent at least a day at the Point every summer.
Just my 2 cents.

CCI + CP = #1 Wooden Coaster.

You guys are putting WAY too much thought into this. If it's a good coaster, people will come ride it, period. I'm sure Intamin could put a new twist in their hyper design to make it TOTALLY different from MF. They did it with S:UE, they're doing it for Knott's

It's proboally just going to be a S:ROS clone.

I can't believe you people! CP and SFWoA are about an hour or so apart. Of course there going to know about each others rides. Heck, SFWoA can probable see MF from where they are!
It is possible that this will be an Intamin.
Why wouldn't they build an Intamin in the first place????
I think it would be a great addition to SFWoA if they are building a modified version of Superman:Ride of Steel, after all it is a coaster that delivers airtime on the same or near level of the Magnum.
It's what the GP craves.:)
it will be intamin or B&M, just look at what SF has gone with in the past couple years, intamin and one B&M hyper.
Whatever it is they do, its going to have to be a 3-train operation to really cut down on the lines
Well in the light of the recent accident on S:ROS, I think three trains will be out of the question. Oh, nothing to worry about, SFWOA only ever run one train anyway.

The layout was nothing close to a SRoS clone, the layout had 3 large hills then a huge turnaround and 6 bunny hills back to the station, it looks too B&M, it almost looks like a longer clone of AC. Also the drop is rumored to be 50 ft below the crest and have a huge tunnel.

It'll be a Chance-Morgan Hyper Coaster...Chance-Morgan has already came out and announced that a major park has asked them to build a hyper coaster...but they wont say yet. Look for the height to be around 215 foot, with possibly a larger first drop of around 225 feet...Morgan is big on the tunnels. I expect to to be a long coaster, somehwhere about 5,000-5,800 feet in length. I also would expect an announcement really soon...
