Indiana Beach changes logo

Look at the top of the site, Indiana Beach has changed the font of their logo. I don't like it, I am not sure if I liked the old one either, but at least it was recognizable and original, this looks childish, cheap, and not recognizable at all.

I don't know if that's just for the website, or if they are changing it for everything. I haven't started seeing TV spots yet.

I actually don't mind it. And while we are on the topic, I think the Steel Hawg logo actually looks really good.

Well everyone knows bad logo = bad park.

And I hate people with names like jive2 that do not contribute anything to the thread.

I do not like the logo either.

I agree with moosh's sentiments though. What that park does need is more trees, it is not charming enough!

I think this is only one of the many small changes we are about to see.

What do you mean not contributing to anything? Umm... a park is changing its logo. Sure that is not earth shattering nor does it mean that the park is getting better or worse. You have a choice to read it or not. No one is forcing you to read it.

Wow, Jive2, you defended yourself for not contributing, just wow. Andy is right, its not earth shattering, but we already talked about the never been done before coaster they are getting. Which does have a great logo, 2 great logos, but the track in the logo is not the same color as the actual track. Nonetheless it is nice. Indiana Beach also did a very nice job painting their water park. I expect to see some major changes next year, after Morgan experiences the live season. Its nice to see new owners, which actually contribute to make a park better.

It's pretty obvious that my post didn't contribute anything. It is however a complaint, which fits in with the "theme" of the thread.

But telling me not to read it applies to those who chose to complain about my complaint. If you're going to post a silly complaint thread you should expect silly complaints about the tread.

The font looks too... trendy? Is that the word I am looking for? I mean it is a more "fun" font, but it lacks that nostalgic feel the old one had. If I had the job of redoing it, I would have kept the font and added the slight depth that they did with the new one. Am I thinking too much about this? Definitely. But why do you care how much I am thinking about this?

I am sure Lighty will forgive. It is part of his charming attitude.

I noticed the logo change last night but never for a second ever even remotely entertained the thought of posting it on a message board. In fact, I went all day without mentioning it to my wife or anyone else I encountered today.

I might as well say though that I don't like the logo. I was thinking that I could have done something like that myself. It just stinks. I didn't love the old one either.

I can't believe it but this actually a news update at Screamscape. Someone needs to submit this as a Coasterbuzz news item. I've actually got my parents on the phone right now in Florida so I can tell them about this also.
