Indiana Beach changes logo

Thanks Jan! I'm guessing even overpriced stinky rooms will work better for the crew I'm bringing than the campground.

I think the worry is more about what else the new corporate owners will change and the logo change is the first visible change that has been made so far.

I think that's the real reason why people really care about the changing the logo of the park.

yep that was about as much of a contribution as this thread is to these boards...

The why did you feel the need to bump it back up to the top?

It would be kind of silly to "complain" about the logo, if that in itself constituted the sum total of changes at IB. But from what we DO know, it seems that there are going to be LOTS of changes to the park...we just don't know how the guest experience will be affected. There has been some unsettling "news", but official word from the Morgan RV folks has been quite sparse. So people are predictably anxious. "Rightfully anxious" - too early to tell, IMO.

Using the logo as a springboard for productive discussion, even when we don't know all the specifics, seems totally reasonable to me.

The family and I go to opening weekend as our kickoff to coaster season. I called today and was told they they are not having BOGO free on POP passes for opening weekend like they used to. Kind of disapointing to hear. That promotion worked out well with the four of us and allowed use to spread extra money around the park.

I guess the First 100 people in the door promotion is cool, but not the same. We will save our money and go at a latter date when Steel Hawg is up and running. Can't wait to see what's next to change.

Damn Cornfields

Indiana Beach has a MySpace page. It's pretty cool. The blogs are interesting and there are videos and pictures.

Same reason you felt the need to quote me. ;)

If you two don't behave I'm turning this thread around immediately!

;)

Well, it has been around for about a month and it already has almost 350 friends.

Not sure what you meant by "it's still MySpace."

Not looking to argue or be negative, but your comment seemed a bit vague to me.

I'm good man...getting excited about HoliWood Nights. And I'm still waiting for us to start out comedy team, Swoosh & Moosh. My offer for you to be the straight-man still stands :)
Well as you can't be the straight man (lol) I will accept that position. ;)

Would love to go to HWN, BUT I have a stupid work day that I have to go to at school. *blah* :(

Why can't we all just get along? Could be worse. Mamoosh could be bi, and have a split opinion.

Coaster Junkie from NH
I drive in & out of Boston, so I ride coasters to relax!

Wait a minute -- who was that guy that used to post here that DID have a split personality -- in fact he had two accounts depending on who he was that day. ???

M:TR is not bi.

I should have a trip report after this weekend. Unfortunately I have no basis to compare it against. Anybody else going on Saturday?
