At least they have Flyers!
That logo looks like it was designed in the 1970's. Is that really the feel they're shooting for?

The only feel I want them to shoot for is good customer service, operating rides, and cleanliness.
My favorite MJ tune: "Billie Jean" which I have been listening to alot now. RIP MJ.
I think the logo looks more modern than the old one, but I'm not sure if I am too crazy about it.

It's not earth-shattering news, but it is news. And isn't that one of the things CB has always been about...reporting the news?!
By the way...don't hate the logo, don't like it either.
Now officially a Halloween Haunt Cornstalker for Fall '08!

I think the worry is more about what else the new corporate owners will change and the logo change is the first visible change that has been made so far.

Nope, can't say I have. This summer will finally mark my first visit. (And there was much rejoicing.:))

Cool. Whatever you do, DO NOT miss Frankenstein's Castle walk-thru. Yeah, its a few extra bucks but worth every penny. And so you do not miss the best effect of the attaction when you get to "the balcony" that overlooks a 3-story room walk out to the end and look up. Had a friend who'd done it once before not told me about it I would have missed something pretty awesome.
Excelente. Thanks for the low-down, Moosh. I'm a sucker for a good walk-thru.
I had been hoping to incorporate IB into a massive summer trip this year, heading to SFGAm, then up to the Dells, then taking the ferry across Lake Michigan to MiA and back to Ohio. With finances and the cost of gas, now it looks like I'll just have to make it an over-nighter.

You're welcome. They usher people into the walk-thru in groups. Once you're all let out of the first "room" I found it's best either to be very first or very last (waiting a minute until everyone else has walked ahead and disappeared from sight) so that you're on your own and none of the gags are ruined.
I don't know if anyone else reads the "View from the Crow's Nest," but they have been busy painting inside the park. The 5 Major water slides got brand new caribbean colors, kiddie land got bright new colors, and the sky ride chairs now have color as well. It seems like they are really busy adding more character to the place. 2008 will be an exciting season!

Moosh, I think you forgot to tell him that room is connected to the circle room with all the doors. Yeah, definitely look up and walk out, best part EVER. You NEVER expect to see that CHAIN, LOL.
Mind you, even a tiny difference, such as that between 0 and 0.000126, can make a world of difference.
Hey hey, no spoilers now! :)

oh sorry, you'll still like what you see, but trust me that didn't spoil anything.

I like Kumba...
yep that was about as much of a contribution as this thread is to these boards...

We stayed at the motel on site. So cool walking out into the sun and being just a few steps from Cornball. What an awesome park!

Do you happen to remember what the name of the hotel was, and how the rates were?

I think we stayed in the cottages. There is a map at the bottom of this page:
http://www.indianabeach.com/accommodations/A little expensive for the condition of the rooms (we ended up in a stinky smoking room), but still....location, location, location.
I think the campground is just across the bridge too if you wanted to rough it.
