"I'm so excited - It's an Intamin ride!"

No, you're right. The Arrow coasters with lapbars hurt your knees and legs instead of your head and neck.

Some do, but most of them don't. In the case of Maggie OT was Arrow's first attempt to take a technology that been only built up to 125 feet and make it 200 feet high. This was a big leap for a mine train coaster so there was alot of bugs that needed to be worked out. Arrow couldn't tell how rough it was gonna be and when they built it, it was designed on paper. With computers you can now tell how rough or smooth your rides gonna be without building it. This was the case of having a glass smooth ride on the Arrow mine train coaster at SFFT.

Now to get back on topic.

Has anyone found any other easter eggs of peeps names other than Elissa White the Intamin fan or Andy Hine the Phoenix fan?

There are supposedly 4 new easter eggs for RCT2. We know Andy Hine, David Ellis, and Elissa White, but I don't think anyone knows what the other one is yet.

That is a false code! Don't be posting those here.

If you name a guy Sawblade5, he gets mad about people posting silly/false information about a VIDEO GAME where you name park patron to get them to say something silly... in a VIDEO GAME.

Lighten up, Francis.

Very funny. I'll have you know I can finally queue up for anything except B&Ms, Intamins and S&S contraptions. CP Guest Services said so. Nyeah.

Even if Chris Sawyer roamed CBuzz enough to know who I was, I'd never show up in an Easter egg. I don't have a particular park-visiting MO, tagline or peculiar behavior that would work--well, that anyone on the Web knows about.

Of course, VF WWC folks are all too painfully familar with the black guy in Ray-Bans who rides a certain waterslide obsessively for 2-3 hours at a time, but nobody else does 'cause I never talk about it.

Maybe I should have. I coulda been a household name....

Vipper, good one. Sawblade, it was a joke, as indicated by the little smiley...

Based on SawBlade's signature, I am guessing that any knock at Arrow directly affects him, joke or not.

Playa,

I think the palatte swap to make a black patron might be too graphic intensive for RCT. ;)

Sure it would--but I think my skin color is closer to a dark olive, no? At least any VF recreation would be 94.5% correct. :P

But if we're gonna go there, why not name a visitor 'Ice Cube' and see if he walks around scowling through his whole visit--even when he's happy.

No manufacturer bashing, or designer bashing please (yes that includes TOGO, Vekoma, and whatever you have against Arrow). Ron Toomer happens to be a very respected person to me. I think of him as a mentor. So if the jokes could be harmless please...

Thanks

Oh will you kids lighten up, let the mods do their jobs and you can go call someone else who cares. Anyways I got it, name one of your patrons TeenageNinja, and he will complain about everything.
Nobody is doing the moderating, except for the moderator, who is Greg.

Cedar Point is not getting a coaster this year!

With all the Arrow Coasters out there only a small amount of them have problems with roughness. I'm preatty sure every company has the same problems at times even B&M has a few of these problems at times. The Oreint Express has a few issues with roughness, But I belive WOF is now starting to help cut dwon on some of it, one thing they're doing is stoping or slowing the train to almost a stop on "C" break so we won't get bashed on the Boomerang element of the ride. It seems to have cut out most of the roughness and this ride is alot more rerideable. On cold days the Oreint runs very well and smooth even without triming it at "C" break. Arrow seems to be a good company all they need to do is put themselves back togheter and try to get parks to build some of their proven rides like suspendeds (I think these are very neat even though they don't loop).

Now to get back on Topic.

How is the RCT 2 easter egg hunt going?

Awwwww, man! I was just about to ask if having Ron Toomer as your mentor meant driving a car with gravel-filled wheels, too. Guess I can't do that now.

Sawblade, you can speak for yourself if you wish, but it's been my experience that a lot more than "a few" Arrow coasters have problems. In fact, I'll go so far as to say that, with two exceptions, they're all rough, painful, and uninteresting. As far as I can see, they've never proven to be a good company. But like you said after your rant, let's stay on topic. ;-)
