"I'm so excited - It's an Intamin ride!"

Now, I knew Robb was somehow involved in RCT1, and now I guess this shows he was involved in RCT2 as well. If you name a guess Elissa White, when they enter the queue for an Intamin ride (only tried it on the giga-coaster so far), they say "I'm so excited - it's an Intamin ride!" Simply hilarious, and the best easter egg yet. Nice one Rob :)

"There is a cluster of bees at the top of the lift. Sorry for the inconvenience."

That's pretty funny, though I'm surprised they included an actual manufacturer's name. Are there any regulations against that?
There are regulations against it (use of another's copyright to gain exposure for your own thing w/o consent), but in this case, being SO minor, and something that really isn't a selling point of the game itself, I don't think Intamin would mind. In fact, that's just more exposure for them.

Yea, I was talking to Robb when I first got the game. He said "try naming a guest Elissa White =)" I haven't had a real function park with an Intamin yet so I can't try it. Oh well, I really don't think that makes up for not having your name in the credits... :(

I had to see it with my own eyes.

Very clever.

Okay, I guess I post too often to be a lurker now.

So what other easter eggs have been discovered?

Elissa White
Chris Sawyer
Etc???

If you name them Jeff Putz, he won't let any other guests talk ;)

Vekomember is from Holland, ishn't zaht veerd?

If you name one smartass, your name pops up.

Sorry, couldn't resist :)

Here is a supposed list of secret names from gamefaqs.com which I have yet to try:

Chris Sawyer= Takes pictures of rides

John Wardley= Constantly thinks, ''Wow!''
John Mace= Pays double price
Damon Hill= Drives Go-Karts twice as fast as others
Mr. Bean= Drives Go-Karts twice as slow as others
Katie Brayshaw= Waves at guests
Melanie Warn= Guest becomes very happy and stays in park.

-----------------
Sean, who was asked for ID when buying RCT2.

Ah, but the best part is naming a guest Elissa White and having her queue up for SFH's Intamin. It's funny to see "Elissa White" get so excited about queueing up for "Goliath" in the guest windows. ;-)

Those were in the original.RCT. We are trying to find ones in RCT2...

In fact, all the peeps take pictures, either when the ride is being built, or when they're watching a ride.

I tried using Chris Sawyer as a peep name and nothing happened (that I noticed). I'll have to try the Elissa White thing when I get home, sounds pretty cool :)

Name one of your guests Andy Hine. ;) He really likes the Phoenix.

-----------------
If you're skating on thin ice, you may as well tap dance.

Maybe if you name a guest "Rideman," he points a laser pointer at rides and explains how they work.

Or if you name one "2Hostyl," he thinks the opposite of whatever the person next to him is thinking. :)

A day is a drop of water in the ocean of eternity. A week is seven drops.

If you name one CBaby and another one Da Midget, then another guest named CPlaya can't que up for rollercoasters.

-----------------
Getting a B&M will always beat out having to take a BM.

Well, if you name one "Den" and one "Den's wife," you'll see Den's wife sitting on benches as Den rides coasters. :)

This is all very interesting. But is the game that samey as RCT that you have to look for easter eggs so soon after buying it? :p

Ok, so this means we can expect a guest to think
"Oh, great. It's an Arrow. Where's my neckbrace?"

Not all Arrows are that way and I think you shouldn't make posts like that here.
