Everyone on here would make fun of my spelling! But then I just started using the Google task bar that has Spell Check so I can misspell as much as I like and It will just fix it!
PKD is my homepark...and im kind of on the fence with how i feel about Hypersonic's new status. i take it or leave it, i suppose. it does have a launch that still takes my breath away...but even the "ejector air" on top has gotten old, painful, and just plain not fun anymore. what i want to know is...
exactly WHAT can they put in that footprint? i have a few ideas...sadly, my favourite idea, a Giant Frisbee (Delirium) wont happen sans Huss; though Mondial makes one, dont they?
and BatwingFan...if you were referring to Grizzly as a piece of firewood...dont ever let me catch you on the midways at PKD lol...
CoasterKid...we all have lives too. trust me...ive met many of the people who have responded to your comical posts, and they are great people. so lighten up and take some criticism.

It's not so much that i cant spell, but i dont have to. Unlike most of you i have a life, and dont have time to spell every thing out right like you do. Sorry for leaving the house and spending time at party's. Coming back and trying to give my opinion, when all you guys do is shot me down.
Ha! I know exactly what you mean. I spent the extra 1.2 seconds to type this sentence correctly and I totally missed a party. Man it sucks not having a life!
Maybe you think that it is cool that people are talking directly to you online and you are getting some kind of attention. If it keeps up, you may find everyone here slowly ignoring your posts. It's happened to a lot of ex-Coasterbuzzers.
Oh yeah, Hypersonic...I never got to ride it. I really never had the desire to ride it. It really doesn't look impressive.
Bolliger/Mabillard for President in '08 NOT Dinn/Summers
Don't write like an idiot and claim every ride in the world is coming to MiA and people won't be all over you for what you write.
Yea, is this the first time that Cedar Point's Chaos has been listed on one of these ride sale sites? I'm surprised no one made a bigger deal out of that in the past if that's the case. If this is the first observation of that, just another case of cleaning house with unreliable rides ...
Anyone check if Demon Drop is still for sale? Maybe Cedar Fair bought the freefalls, will scrap one for parts and install the other 3?
Other accidents I have heard are of Big Thunder Mountain and Space Mountain derailing. American Eagle crashes, Demon is stuck in a loop, Whizzer crashes, The Egde breaks, someone falls out of Superman, and so on. Just because it's a flat ride, everyone gets so paranoid.
How many of these Chaos have been running very safe? A lot of them. One had a breakdown because the mechanics weren't doing there job. Treat it like a roller coaster, and you will be okay. It's been working fine the last time I was on it.

Me referring to the best piece of wood in the park in that fashion? no way.I was referring to that piece of firewood known as hurler instead.Lord knows I'd go nuts if they ever took the Grizz out.
I dunno what,if anything they can put there to replace HS:XLC.Now with some constructive routing,or the simple removal/relocation of other existing rides in that area they might be able to shoehorn something in that spot.
Does anyone believe the ride will be SBNO for the 07 season if they can't find a buyer,or will it continue operating as normal until that time?
It might make sense to dismantle it & put it in storage so as to not continue wasting money & man hours inspecting it,as well as to protect it from the elements prior to sale...but then again having it standing may give potential buyers a chance to thoroughly inspect the ride & see how it performs before deciding wether or not to purchase it .
of course, with Cedar Fair taking over, i cant imagine what kind of crap our woodies (and that of all the paramount parks i reckon) are going to go to.

lol...your lucky BatwingFan... your lucky :D as for Hurler; all it really needs is some TLC. There have been some seasons where it ran quite well for the first several weeks of the season...of course, with Cedar Fair taking over, i cant imagine what kind of crap our woodies (and that of all the paramount parks i reckon) are going to go to.
On the plus side, I can't see our Hurler at Carowinds riding any worse.
Such a shame. I rode Hurler in its opening season and thought it was the bee's knees. Every year it gets worse... twelve years or so and it's fit to be demolished if you ask me.
As for Hypersonic, it's not a very good coaster, and if there's anything that history has proven when it comes to coasters and flats plagued by maintenance issues, it'll have a short lifespan. Maybe some other park can get this (and the other stuff for sale) working in the future, or maybe they should go to a smaller park where the rides will stand out more and demand more attention (I'm looking at you, SFGAdv's Stuntman's Freefall), but it's not happening in with the current situation.
