How many times do you ride a coaster?

Dan.. your 42-day was really one that I would never forget! I mean, Maggie just ran so awesome in those extreme conditions! I really thought we were gonna roll back! Unfortunatly, I only got 3 rides on it during that time of night.
I rode the Superman: Ride of Steel 23 times in September. It was a friday night, believe it or not and they let us sit in the same seats 5 times in a row cause no one was in the queue line for that seat.

S:ROS @ SFA - Well for the Coaster Zombies SFA Invasion, Wild One and I rode S:ROS about 25+ times without getting off. We would simply change seats every so often, like a "Fire Drill". Thats also how I discovered that seat 2-2 blue is my personal favorite (left side :))

So why is that seat the best anyway?

What is life without geniuses?
Last August ,after sampling other coasters in the the park,I rode the Coaster at the PNE in Vancouver,BC about 20 times in one day.In my opinion, this is the best ride in the park.It is too bad this Carl Phare classic coaster may not be around much longer
A couple years ago at the 8th grade annual trip to Carowinds, my friend and I marathoned on the Hurler. When we got there (as the park was just opening) there was almost NOBODY in the Wayne's World section. We stayed on the train about 30 times in a row in the front seat, and many times there was nobody else on the train. I must say, there is one particular bunny hop which you really start to notice the pain after about the tenth consecutive lap, if you know what I mean :) That's really the only time I have ever power-ridden.
For the 2000 season at CP
32 times 1 day raptor - Millennium Mania
Forget count in 1 day for MF
Total stats for 2000 at CP
Raptor - 246 Flights
Millennium Force - 106 Rides

Well CG, first off, the blue train is faster than the red train. The speed difference is really noticable in the second helix. But the most important reason is that 2-2 is the only seat where I experienced 'ejector air' on the second hill. All the other hills give good air in any seat, but for some reason the 2nd hill seems a little dull, but not in 2-2, at least that was my experience.

At Hersheypark this summer I rode Lightning Racer 15 times (not in a row) and still rode every other coaster and a couple of flat rides also. At BGW on a Monday in October I rode Apollo's Chariot around 15 times also, and several times I didn't even get off due to Busch's re-ride policy if no one else is in your row.
Well, after reading all of the above, I had to add my most ridden coaster to this thread.

2 summers ago (1999) I went out to SFGAm on a Saturday early in the season. The weather was nice, and the park was DEAD.

I rode the American Eagle all day long. Park open ed at 10 am, and closed at 8 PM. In total, I got in 67 rides. Of those, 2 of them were on the blue side, the rest we on the red side.

And to go with what others have said, SFGAm has a great re-ride policy. If the row you are in has no body in it, and the station is not full (I've seen it when the row has been empty, but a full station, so they try to get other people in the row) then you normally can ride again. By the way, it does help to be nice and polite to the ride ops, since they don't have to allow you to re-ride. :-) That day alone, I think I only had to get off and walk around 3 or 4 times. The rest I either stayed in the same seat, or switched seats. By the end of the day, the employee's did not care as long as I did not take a seat away from someone that was in line. They were all really cool about it.

In fact, that year alone I would have to say I got well over 300 rides on Eagle, since most of the days I came out to the park (41 visits that year) I just rode Eagle. Sure, I rode the other rides and coasters to, but I would say that about 70% of the days I went in 1999 I rode the Eagle, and only the Eagle.

Needless to say, I got to know the crew that year very well, and they got to know me. In fact, they started calling me "Eagle Man", since I was up there so much. Then there was the one day that one of the ride ops gave me his ride certification badge, and said "Here. You are up here so much, you run the ride for awhile". He was kidding of course, but it would have been cool!

Some of you may think I'm nuts, but hey....if you find something you like, you go with it!

:-)

A few years ago when Batman the Ride first appeared at Six Flags Great America, I went to my first ACE event. It was a spring conference. I got to ride Batman 20 times without getting off of the ride during ERT. As you might imagine I was quite dizzy. But what a rush.
Beast7369: I could only dream of a day like that! B:TR is still the only coaster that that makes me dizzy constantly. Wow1 I might have just ralphed after seven! LOL :)
