Seriously, I thought I had a good point and no one saw it... Some one was talkin bout how Iron wolf wouldnt be torn down just because no one liked it, and it was the 1st B&M standup. Then I said that KC was the 1st standup in america, very popular, and then taken down for Delerium. I dont think history's safe anymore.

Delerium however is out of this world.

If given the choice I'd choose a hamburger over a hotdog anyday of the week.

I guess in a park full of mediocre coasters it does tend to stand out ;)

At least IW has some reddeming qualities, KC had none aside from the highly banked helix. After riding Shockwave this spring I have no idea why I ever missed KC.Delerium however is out of this world.
*Slap*....*slap*, just in case you didn't see the first one coming, I wanted you to KNOW where the second one came from....;). I don't care if Delirium IS the greatest thing ever (and based on reports it just might be), KC was a really good stand-up, compact in layout, and seemed to draw really sizable lines (granted, stand-ups never have good capacity, or good signage on HOW to ride). The drop, vertical loop, trick-track, bunnies, and helix, I found the entire ride to be VERY comfortable, and would have been re-rdeable IF the lines hadn't always been so long....
KC may very well have been a maintenance hog, but it was a VERY good ride, the best Togo I've ever ridden by far (all in N America 'cept PCW's). Sh**wave, on the other hand, isn't worth the time it takes to turn the key and start it up....;). Please don't tarnish the memory of a truly good stand-up coaster, Brent...
I still have hopes that KC wil eventually stand (up) somewhere else, but it appears that Paramount isn't going to put it in Spain, no matter how hard I try....and that the $1.1M *asking* price is going to keep anyone else from buying it....I hope the CPG gets it before the CPO/CPC does...;)
To end this on a positive note, go to http://www.parcaquatique.com/page.asp. It's the ski resort/waterpark that COULD, and they put their money where *my* mouth is....;) Congratulations on the purchase, and good luck in the upcoming year!
Let's hope that all the interest in the 35K woodie ends up in a relocation for the Little Dipper...
