HoliWood Nights and discounts for CB Club members

That's correct ... the event does not include all-day admission on Friday.

If you'd like to add Friday all-day admission to your HN package, you may do so when you arrive on Friday. Since this is a "group outing," we can do a reverse on the Next Day ticket and extend that discounted price to Friday for $19 per person.

Thanks, Paula

Man, that's what I get for planning my annual Vegas trip so far in advance. Crap.

HW is only a 2 hour drive, so I'll get there sometime this summer. I just wish I wasn't missing THE coaster event of '06. :(

I don't understand the language that Paula just used (some kind of customer service techno-babble, I guess...probably what I sound like to most other people much of the time...) but I think I get the outcome, and THAT is a heck of a deal. As if the event pricing wasn't already! I just need to figure out how Beech Bend's schedule fits with this.....

what would be the proper procedure for doing this? We have 4 people total, and two with club memberships, if that means anything, and we would all want the day on friday to be added.

EDIT:
sorry i just woke up (yeah i know it's 2:55 PM but i stayed up until 8:00 AM planning this trip i was so excited!) and noticed it said you would just purchase the day of when we arrived on friday...

Thanks,

You can make reservations at Santa's Lodge, I just did the other night. The only thing is that they don't have their rates set for May yet. Either way, they gave me a confirmation number and everything.

SFDL, looks like you mostly figured out the hotels on your own. From what I hear the baymont is usually the hotel of choice. However, the real fun is had at the campground at Lake Rudolph. Their King size RVs are the tit. I really glom onto them.

I hate you.

You and everyone else on this board (and every other board, LOL). Holiday World at least has SEVEN(!) coaster trains to handle us all....poor Beech Bend has probably *never* seen a crowd like the one headed their way... ;)

There must be a lesson about wooden coasters and Field of Dreams in there somewhere. "Build it..."

If only there were an add-on event at Beech Bend on Sunday! Hmmm...now who do we know around here that has planned an event?

I wonder if it would be better if there were NO event at Beech Bend, to encourage people to visit there either before or after Holiday World, instead of all descending on the park at the same time...

It's just a thought. Though a CDM Add On event would certainly be fun... :)

Well if there WAS to be a CDM event it would be limited to x number of attendees due to the ride's single train operation. We don't want a couple hundred people waiting in long lines and only getting a few rides during ERT.

Anyway, it's all up in the air now so don't count on it yet.

Ike loves you baby. You know Ike loves you.

And, oh yeah, I'm gonna beat you to the Voyage. Takes a little of the sting out of missing the event.(Opening day here i come!)

I did not see on there how many guests each member could bring. There are a bunch of people I know that have shown interest including someone from halfway around the world who has never been on a coaster before.

I also would like to know if there is a limit on how many people I can bring. Since my mom has suggested that our whole family could go along.

Also, what time does registration start on Friday? Is it just at 6 when the park closes?

Registration will be open all day Friday, as a number of enthusiasts also like to to purchase a ticket to visit the park all day on Friday.

We don't have a limit to the number of guests you can bring ... they just need to sign up with you (the club member).

Thanks, Paula

<sigh>

With a conference AND a wedding already double-booked for that weekend, I don't think I'll be making it. :(

Someone take a lap on Voyage for me.

LOL...I would not miss this event for my own wedding.
