No, just the troll!

But ya got me again :)

Chuck

lets day i want to buy 5 event tickets together...

i only need to write down one (even though there is more than one person w/ membership) person w/ the membership for all 5 people? or does each of the 5 people need to sign and fill out the agreeement thing along w/ names/addresses etc. [print out 2 flyers to cut the section out and fill in a name for all 5 spaces, with only one having the club information] and send in $36.95 x 5 = $184.75?

Then if we want to add on Friday, we just go to the actual window / registration at the PARK and pay the "reverse add-on" price to get friday during the day... correct? [we dont need to make any note of this on the flyer or include any payment now... correct?]

just want to make sure i don't screw this up, only because i already made a mistake w/ the hotel reservations for being stupid... :)

Any person who is a club member should sign up as a member and list the club(s).

Whether you're a club member or a guest, you must sign the Code of Conduct in order to attend. Guests must sign up on the same form as the club member.

Please don't do any cutting, pasting or stapling. If you need to sign up more than fits on one page, use a second complete form and mail them together.

If you want to add Friday, do that when you pick up your registration materials when you arrive at the park. You don't need to sign up for the reverse-add-on day ahead of time.

Hope this helps, Paula

"reverse add-on day"?

Sounds like something you'd hear from folks who still aren't sure what time it is.. ;)

LOL, Paula knows I tease because I love... :)

Speaking of time, how will the time zone changes/ daylight savings affect Holiday World this summer?

I know that, in the past, wintertime you were on "New York time" and summer you were on "Chicago Time", but with Indiana mandating that all counties go to Daylight Savings Time, what will happen?

Santa Claus was already on Central, Daylight time, wasn't it?

That's correct, Matt. We're on Central -- and will continue to be.

Most of the State will go to Daylight Savings Times for the first time on April 2, at which point the southwest corner of Indiana will always be an hour "behind" Indianapolis.

thank you, that helped alot :)
I'll still do what I was planning on doing get to the areas and start checking clocks and such to find out what time zone I am in and when I need to leave for where I want to be. Also my hotel desk I going to get to know me real well from me asking about time in areas I am visiting.

Watch the tram car please....

After an 11-month hiatus from anything fun, I think that this is an entirely appropriate occasion to get back to some hard-core coastering.

Where have you been, Eric? Glad you're home. :)

I booked a campsite @ Lake Rudolf for our camper yesterday. If you are planning to take a camper, anything over 24' is booked!

Looks like a BIG weekend for HW!

Well, I don't post much, but this event sure deserves one!

I'm so unbelievably stoked! I cannot wait to ride the Voyage... The onride video tells me that it is very likely going to be what I would call a 'perfect' coaster. (wipes drool off chin)

I'm also very excited to finally experience Holiday World! Looking forward to the fun, down home atmosphere, and the friendly staff that I've heard so much about. That would be a refreshing change!

Paula, thank you for all your wonderful updates! The Voyage pics you post on the blog make my day whenever there's a new batch, especially now that it's really taking shape. The 90 degree bank pics are awesome, as well as the one from the top of the lift looking out at the course where you can see how far back into the woods the track goes.

poigp rghaepgtehrpu. Sorry had to wipe more drool of my keyboard!

PS - Great choice on the name & logo for The Voyage. So many parks are focused on Xtreme(tm) names, it's refreshing to see a nice fun one. (not unlike your other rides...)

Can't wait to see it all for myself!

I thought this weeks blog was gonna feature turnaround area.

I'll let her STEW on that a minute.

It's a long walk back there. We should give her some time. ;)

The registration flyer mentions t-shirts. Are these for The Voyage or are they ones specially made for HoliWood Nights?

I can't wait for this event!

I survived a Japanese typhoon and the Togo flat ride of death!!!!!!
Just a suggestion, but I think it would be cool to have a trophy that stays in the park, the kind with plaques for annual winners to be added, and then high score on Gobbler Getaway at every event could be added. Maybe it could be a big turkey or something.

Suffering the slings and arrows of outrageous misfortune.

Let's just say that D-Day is T-minus 51 days and counting...

So are you guys going to be 2 hours behind Eastern time then? This whole time thing is confusing and I don't want to be late!
