Now I just have to figure out where to fly into, and if I'm willing to pay extra to fly into a close airport, or actually make my first trip to SFStL.

QUESTIONS:
> is the friday admission to the park (part of the $37) only valid after 6:00 PM once the park closes to the public, or do we get the entire day, too? [the park seems to open at 10AM that day)
> hotels in the area? can i book any online? personal recommendations, best value, etc? i'll do a little searching tommorow, but if anybody knows the area well or has been there and can help out that would be great.
thanks!

looks like you mostly figured out the hotels on your own. From what I hear the baymont is usually the hotel of choice. However, the real fun is had at the campground at Lake Rudolph. Their King size RVs are the tit. I really glom onto them.
As for admission, if history is any indication, the admission package does not include all day admission Friday (And heck, for $37, why should it?) However they'll usually start letting folks in by late afternoon (An hour or 2 before park close). Your club membership gets you $24 admission if you want to get in all day Friday. Normally I'd say that may be overkill, but I have a hunch the park will be seeing bigger than normal crowds next spring. We'll see.
Oh wait, you'll see. I won't.
