I'm starting to think we may do it as the same weekend as PPP anyway. In a quick straw poll, the number of people who go to both is not large. There is a lot more availability in the campground that weekend as well.
We're also looking into something super fantastic to add to the event.

Understandable. At least that probably means I'll be able to go to BooBuzz this year. :-)

Is there an official date for this event yet?

Thanks, Jeff. I'm planning on going in that case. I just got back from HoliWood Nights and Voyage is running like [better than] 2006! Maybe I should have gotten a Season Pass this year.

I just want to say how Hilarious it is that the second result for "gravy buffet" in bing is for ACE.
Voyage is running amazing this year. I would venture a guess and say year one smooth. Legend on the other hand, not so much. Raven was running fantastic as well. I got many Voyage rides in. But, being pretty tired on Friday I just sat on Raven. never had to get up, only had to switch rows. Probably got 30+ rides in. :)
I'm glad I was able to get back to Holiwood Nights this year as I will not be able to make it to Fall Affair. Which is a shame. Because I know I would have been to get many more Voyage rides at Fall Affair.

I have to disagree with you Jason on Legend. I thought it was running great.
But I do agree with you about being tired on Friday. Work and a 6+ hour drive plus Holiwood Nights is a long day.
I'm not saying it was a bad ride. But, I felt I had to brace my self more than in previous years. Especially through the helix.

I have to agree with Shades, I didn't find Legend to be at all rough, and it ran better than I'd ever ridden it (and I've always liked Legend better than Raven).
Voyage was Epic.
Raven was meh.
I thought Legend gave the best rides I've ever had on it. I do think it is the "worst" of the three, but that's because the other two are just THAT good. That being said Raven was awesome, and Voyage. Oh my god, Voyage. Yes, it really was that good.

I was pretty disappointed in the roughness of the woodies last year. I'm not in a rush to get back there any time soon, no matter how wonderful the atmosphere is or how awesome the Kochs are.

I can handle Legend better in the left seat of any car, but particularly the front. I tried the front of the last car and it wasn't horrible, but still not my style. Some of the benches have solid seat dividers, and some have just an arm; if they all had solid dividers, it would be much, much more comfortable to sit on the right side. The hollow divider makes that helix (well, all of it really, but especially the helix) difficult to endure.
Solid seat dividers FTW. And as I age, Legend is too lateral-filled for me to really enjoy the back as much, so I stick to the first car (left side is more comfy in general). The airtime hill on Legend is back in force, and overall I thought all three coasters ran smoothly. Raven may not be what it once was, but The Voyage was simply amazing - the rain/post-rain rides were the best since the epic T-storms of a few years ago.
Oh, and I managed to "brush" the tree near the entrance to Eagle's Flight. No tree limbs were harmed, but I'm beginning to get the feel of their flying skooters.
I got the closest to snapping than I've ever gotten before. I could feel the cable beginning to go slack. Still not quite there though. I have no problem snapping on Knoebels. I'm wondering if the length of the cables are a big factor here. It seems to me the Knoebels structure is taller, giving you longer cables.
