Anyone have any Intamin blueprints and can compare to the shred. Could be a pithy little way of describing the relationship. hahaha
B&M is building that family suspended coaster in China. That style of ride would be a good fit for Holiday World.
That looks really cool, Amnesiac - the first 2-abreast B&M. Have to admit thinking that Freedom Flyer (the Chance product) looks pretty similar and probably costs about half as much...and the layouts do look very comparable. Although I'd imagine the B&M to be much smoother, even the Chance product rides a lot better than the Vekoma "junior inverts"...
The layout to the B&M and Vekoma inverts are identical. The B&M has the same restraints as Banshee without the vest.
That's nothing. Mack recently built an exact clone of the intamin Megalite. I say exact but there are slight variations, apparently due to the Mack train, but it's the same exact layout.
If we bite and buy into the shredded blueprint being both legit and B&M what are you guys guessing the coaster model to be?
My guess would be a medium sized sit down looper (floorless, I suppose).
The ride has almost certainly been in the planning stages for several years now so despite there being 3 Wingriders all within 5-6 hours, I don't think we could rule one of those out either. Afterall, they seem to be B&M's coaster du jour.
It's hard to say at this point. HW isn't easy to predict. I'm actually surprised that it looks to be a B&M. I didn't realize they had pockets that deep. I doubt that the blue prints are a red herring. Paula seems way to smart to make a mistake like that.
If they're going to B&M, the smart money would be an invert. The downside of that guess (other than the obvious cost) would be that the adult inverts have higher height restrictions than what HW has indicated interest in...
That family invert looked interesting and might get the lower height limit...but then it lacks the loopiness that has been mentioned as a likelihood.
Hey, at least it makes for a fun whodunit...or rather a whowilldoit...
You still have Zoidberg.... You ALL have Zoidberg! (V) (;,,;) (V)
I can't imagine that any park would start their steel collection with a B&M invert. I mean they're superb rides, but they cost an arm and a leg and they have a rather high height limit.
Hobbes: "What's the point of attaching a number to everything you do?"
Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."
And who here would NOT expect Paula to grab a blueprint from someone else's ride, obfuscate it in a deliberate fashion, grab a bag of popcorn and watch the enthusiasts go nuts?
I'm not saying that's what is going on here (especially since Kings Island already tried a variation on that trick with the "customary" 48-hour Cedar Fair website leak). I am saying that kind of misdirection would be completely in character. 8-)

It seems to me that the clues are leading towards a B&M Flying Coaster with water elements, similar to Manta at Seaworld Orlando.
I have an idea of what it is maybe HW will convert Pilgrim's Plunge into a hydro coaster like the one in Miroblanda, Italy! (Divertical)
No.
10 days down, 56 to go. The promo site is certainly doing a good job of portraying how boring it was on the Mayflower. I hope that part does not translate into the ride experience.
I'm hoping for a Pirate attack any day now.
Any CoasterBuzzers heading to Santa Claus this weekend for HoliWood Nights?
I'll be there - pretty stoked as it's my first visit in 4 years and the Voyage walk back may prove to be interesting as I'm guessing the park will use the opportunity to tease the 2015 attraction a bit more.
