Hersey park's new coaster lyout revealed!

SFGAm has 11 coasters but I figured "Spacely's Sprocket Rockets" (sp?) was a kiddie and Whizzer I thought based on information from this board when it was rumored to be going is a kiddie. If my info is wrong, I apologize.

Whizzer is definitely not a "kiddie" ride. It's a great family coaster with a fair amount of speed and some great, low to the ground (read: you can grab a handful of grass), highly banked turns.

IMHO, it's more thrilling than some "adult" rides like Iron Dragon or Adventure Express

Quick! Someone get in touch with SLFAKE...he knows how to do theme park math. He'll be able to tell how many adult coasters SFGAm has.

Yes, Pitt, err, I mean, Impulse-ive,(;)), Whizzer is more a "family" coaster, and though I didn't get to ride when I was there, Its definitly not a kiddie coaster, so SFGAm I guess has 10 too.:)

Hmmmmm.... let me see....

Some of these are easy...

Bat Man, Demon, Iron Wolf, Raging Bull, Superman Ultimate Flight, and Vertical Velocity each count as 1 (total of 6)

Whizzer counts as 1 (some count it as kiddie so that gives it a -1, some count it as family so that counts as 0, some count it as adult so that counts as 1, some really love it and frothed at the mouth when it was said to be removed last year so that counts as 2, I personally count it as -1 because any coaster that sounds like slang for bodily function gets a -1.... Net result is 1)

American Eagle is a racing coaster so some count it as 1 others count it as 2 so let's count it as 1.5. I never rode it, but it at least looks pretty cool, so... ummm... let's just count it twice add 2 just for the heck of it so American Eagle counts as 4.

Then there is Spacelys Sprockets Rockets. I've always been more of a Flintstone's fan over the Jetsons, so let's not count that at all. Better yet, because it is a tongue twister to say, let's give it a -1.

Then there is Dejavu... hardly ever opened, so let's call it a .25...

Then there is Dejavu... hardly ever opened, so let's call it a .25...

Shockwave is gone... but people really seemed to like it, so let's count that as 1

Also... American Eagle and Viper are wooden coasters, so we add 1 for each of those (total +2)

and when all of this is done we subtract the value of Pi (3.145) and then we round down...

SOOOOOOO The final calculation is...

6+1+4-1+.25+.25+.25+.25+1+2-3.145=10.855... rounded down to

10 adult coaters at SFGrAm.
