I think there's a lot of digital bull here in this thread ;)

------------------
A random Mooshter's Dawntionary listing: Giraffiti [n.] Vandalism spray painted very, very high.

I think that they are going to beat CP for the Tallest, Fastest coaster. It will be an Intamin with a 195 ft lift. The 1st drop will go 230 in the ground with featuring the longest tunnel. There will be an overbank coming out of the water(behind SDlooper's station) over the Great Bear, and around the kissing tower. It will feature amazing airtime hills with a helix around the Flying Falcon. Then another 150 foot drop down around the trailblazer, and then a few more bunny hops to the brakes. ;) I can't wait to ride.

They'll also close down the rest of the park and sell all the rides so that they can afford it.

I'm not even going to respond to those who say I'm bull****ting them or to those who are making fun of my % remarks (yes, I did shread that .1% of doubt after talking with Gary recently) because August 5th is when I will laugh.

I hear it's a Zamperla Dragon.........lay the rumors to rest :-)

I've read the blueprints. It's a 300-ft. tall Vekoma rollerskater.

You're all wrong! It's the world's longest Wacky Worm. A very wise choice. :)

In the meantime, please continue to make the rest of us laugh. ;)

I'll repeat again what I said before (if not in this thread, in another but I forget which one)...

IF it is in fact a rocket or some sort of launched coaster... I realize by the suggested layout that it will be more of an "out and back" (or should I say "around the circle") type than the more interesting layout out of X-celerator. IF it is in fact a Rocket coaster or some sort of launched coaster... I hope that that in that proposed layout there is something a little more interesting than 1 element... up and back down. If you're going to invest, invest in something other than a (and here goes the old cliched line again) one trick pony.

Kind of hard to take a post as objective if a park or coaster name is part of the "user name"

If an enthusiast laughs in his room and the rest of us are out having fun at the park, does anyone care?

Just for the record:
DW got the Earthmovers and the Kiddie Whip.

The maintenance issues associated with the Conestoga made it undesirable. If you'd like to ride it, you can do so at Lake Winnepesauka, as they purchased it.

It's doubtful that the Cyclops will return, but the Starship (AeroJets) most likely will within the next year or so. It had virtually no maintenance issues or problems, but was in the way of the new Music Box theatre, and had to be removed.

Stop trying to Un-hyjack a Hyjacked thread, Comet Rider!! Dang it!! Dang it to Heck!!!!!111!!!!!1!@

Beaver, The other White meat.

I had heard that about Starship America (formerly AeroJets) too... in storage. I forgot about th kiddie whip going to DW along with Earth Movers.

I must admit that I think I only rode Conestoga one time, during a visit for Hersheypark in the Dark. I did notice that during its last season or two at the park it seemed to be down more than it was running.

Here was the latest email message from Hersheypark that I got in my mailbox. Take it for what you will!

"Something big's coming to HERSHEYPARK in 2004!

There's a cloud of dust on the horizon,

And when it settles there's gonna be 10 wild horses in the corral!

Remember, the secret's out August 5 at High Noon!"

"10 Wild Horses" could possibly be referring to the fact that next year, Hershey will have a total of 10 coasters in the park. Dont know, just a thought.

Ya' know, it hadn't occured to me that the "10 wild horses in the corral" could be a creative way of saying "10 coasters at Hersheypark"... but it does make sense.

Seems the most logical way to interpret that, since 10 coasters is a pretty lofty position in the park business. This got me thinking - depending on whether you consider Roller Soaker a "kiddie" coaster or not (which I don't - it's pretty high up there, and adults ride just as much as kids from what I saw) how many other parks can claim they have 10 "adult" coasters? Trailblazer and RS are the only two in HP that seem to skirt the line of "adult" vs. "kiddie" coasters, but even CP only really has 14 "adult" coasters by that definition, and SFMM would have 14 also. Seems like somebody's starting to give the "big boys" a run for their money ... (I only counted 9 at SFGAdv and 9 at SFGAm)

I think 'Blazer and Roller Soaker are more of family coasters. i think kiddie coasters would be the Zamperla Dragons and the Wacky Worms....
I don't consider the "family" category to be a true category. As far as I'm concerned, it's either so small that there's a *maximum* height (and not due to supports being close like a Deja Vu) making it a kiddie coaster, or its "adult". I would consider Lightning Racer and Wildcat and the mouse coaster there to be just as much "family" as 'Blazer or RS. Little kiddos can get on those rides if they're feeling brave and they don't have large amounts of violent movements or loops or megadrops to really scare the beegeezus out of kids.

How did you only count 9 "adult" coasters at Six Flags Great America? Um...try 11!

That 70's Show Rocks, but coasters arre okay too. :)
