Amusement Business reported November 5 that Heide Park will build a 412 ft. tall Intamin roller coaster. The coaster has not been named.
Then start talking about the other parks!
Top Speed: Roughly 105 mph.
When I read the article, it said 124 mph.

Anyways, I love the design of the new coaster because it has such a variety of elements overall especially being that low to the ground going that fast on the turns at the bottom of the drop. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it!!

What did Cedar Peter say to Island Merlin?
Flaggy Maggie ain't getting anywhere near my Peninsula!
It has the most coasters, is one of the cleanest parks, has the best capacity, has one of the most unique settings, and gives an over-all great experience to any guest. Maybe Cedar Point always comes up because it is the park that everyone compares any other park to because you just can't do any better. Ever thought of that?
Every topic is becoming filtered with talk of the same 2-3 parks over and over. Let's give some other parks their due.

Well, you'd need to be well over 500' (or START the drop at 55mph) to hit that speed in a *pure freefall*, let alone on a roller coaster (see here for relevant equations, substituting the numbers for this coaster)
So I'd say that claim was wrong.

As far as US parks go, it seems like it would take lots of space for a coaster of this magnitude... Dare I mention Cedar Point (closest park to me) but what is Cedar Point going to do about new space in the park? Are they going to move the entrances? Does Six Flags Ohio have lots of space? What about the parks near you? It seems to me like many parks would have trouble building these mega-sized rollercoasters... I dunno...
But wow... 412ft...
Anyway, Intaman, you really need to do some research. Paramount is likely *THE* nost innovative theme park company (OL:FoF, V:TBC, H:XLC, DZ@PKI, Face/Off-Invertigo). And besides satisfying the wants of crybabies like you and me, give me ONE reason why SF *should* make a *ANOTHER* 300ft coaster (they already have S:TE). I think the S:ROSes, Goliath/Titian, and Raging Bull/Nitro have been plenty popular. Do you *really* believe that making bigger coasters would have been better for the company.

Its not that I don't like Cedar Point. I have no reason to like it or dislike because I have never been there, but its just that it is all you people talk about. One of these days, Six Flags and/or Paramount are going to surprise you with something out of the ordinary. Its just a matter of time before they do so!

Anyways, back on topic, I've always wanted to go to Germany, this just gives me one more reason to go!! :) Build one here soon so I don't have to go.
Please, save it for the another thread...
