Has Cedar Point gotten a little too full of themselves?

If you don't think your product or service is the best, you should work for that better company.

I mean REALLY.

NOTE: Severe fecal impaction may render the above words highly debatable.

If they'll have you, that is.

:) Close - I'm headed toward 24 in August. It's blatantly obvious that these rants come from 14-15 year olds, though.

If it's someone older, I'd question their social interaction skills...

Also, remember Disneyland is "The HAPPIEST place on earth" but I have been there and not always been in my happiest mood. Does that make them "full of themselves" and "liars" too?

Ok, I do think they can advertise as best, seeing how they are better than the SF chain, I'm not anywhere from 14 or 15, I will be 18 this Sunday, I do know what I'm talking about, just because I'm young has nothing to do with it. Anways, CP gets enough customers, thats how they payed for Geauga Lake's Upgrades and renovations from CP funds. I'm sure the 'best' stuff won't harm anything, they will be just as successful as always.;)

Of course they're gonna say they're the best. EVERY park is going to say that. It is up to the consumer to decide if the experience they get lives up to that claim.

With all due respect, everyone says/believes that at pretty much every age. You'll think differently in the future.

At 16 I thought I knew it all. Then at 18 I realized how dumb I was at 16. Then at 21 I realized how clueless I was at 18. At 25, I realized I was just a dumb kid at 21. When I turned 30, I looked back at myself at 25 and laughed.

I expect that trend to continue, otherwise I'm going to question my rate of personal growth.

As much as I like to think otherwise, brains don't make up for experience. :)

Oh, I know, I do expect that already, Of course I don't know everything, One never stops learning, we'll live the rest of our lives thinking were silly when we were a certain age, and always going to find something new. So, therefore the trend would obviosly contintue for the average population...And this is just "expected from most" .

Gonch is right. I'm 40 this June and I can look back and see what an idiot he is! ;)

I'd say "I know where you live", but you'd like that. ;)

Yes, I would. But I've accepted the fact you'll be nothing but fantasy fodder for me, Gonch ;)

mOOSH [really needs to buy an inner monologue]

I bought one of those once, Moosh, but it sat unused on my coffee table for months before I sold it at a garage sale.
I am 26 and every year that goes by I realize how dumb I used to be. I cannot believe how I thought I knew everything at 18. I was such an idiot.

Guess who's back? Back Again? James K's back. Tell a friend.

Cedar Point, full of themselves? nahhh... I thought about writing a story for like ACE news, but it wouldn't get printed ... and may get me sued, for the stuff that happens "behind the scenes" at CP (at least when I worked there 91-93). It was truly a blast. I guess there are 'overzealous' people in management everywhere...

ACE would never print an article like that.
Cedar Point IS Full of themselves! They are full of fun, games, coasters, rides, and for the most part, the better employees!
