But, if they end up with a "hangout" type park on their hands a-la Kennywood, just keep it the way it is and definitely go for Playa's idea for the mega-waterpark in the other thread.
As far as names go, I think they'll end up all being unique except for Woodstock Express (cause Kiddie coasters don't really count anyway ;) )

You know... if Villain is slow it's because it's losing a ton of speed to friction and sloppy track gauge. Those skeptical about Cedar Fair maintenance of wooden coasters have obviously not been on Blue Streak the last two seasons.
I have, and I wouldn't necessarily categorize Blue Streak as a comfortable/enjoyable coaster. Decent for a coaster from the 60's, but still not good in terms of ride quality - not ride experience, but ride quality and feel.
Knott's maintains GhostRider quite well, but due to the aggressive nature of the ride, if a rehab or two isn't performed on the ride every half year, the ride just begins to tear itself apart - which is something riders can feel.
If you don't wanna hear from me, hop back on RollyCoasterSquawk or whatever. You're pretty sure not to see me there. I usually post where more than 12 people read my stuff.

I don't think I've ever seen nate say he enjoyed a coaster, come to think of it. Do you, nate?
And for the second part, I dont' seen anything different from any other day...
Or are you just being cranky today?
Today!? Read around, Brian.
Nate seems to have a deep rooted dislike of CF.
I debated a while with him over Dorney & SFGAdv - I think he actually enjoys SFGAdv. Even then it seemd like more of an attempt to discredit Dorney than to actually praise SF.
Other than that, I can't say I've seen very much positive talk come from his direction. Everything sucks or everyone is wrong in his neck of the woods.

Okay, LG's pretty much on his own playing field (good cause he's smelly :) (j/k)) but really, you go around with your quips and comments and, whether it was your aim or not, people look to you for Guidance. Yes, Sir Charles, you *are* a role model. I for one, just want to remind you, (and more importantly other) that no matter whose ass it comes out, $#!+ still stinks.

No more Poland Spring Plunge!!!
No more Shipwreck Falls!!!
No more Grizzly Run!!!
No standardization of ride naming...
(hey, gotta think positive on this).
It ain't just the coasters that need re-naming, people.
You knew the man, the myth the legend even before he took up the mask and blue tights. And of all things, you should know I only pimp-slap the all-too-worthy.
Read up, throw up, then cheer me on like you usually do.

Whoa, I agreed with you until that point. I think may posters are just non-combative since he is *good* at reading people. Role model is a bit of a stretch....as with the guidance bit. That gave me a chuckle. And for the record, I agree with Nate most of the time, only his method of conveying is much more scathing.
Fate is the path of least resistance.

So, Nate, if you find nearly every CF coaster you've ridden intolerably rough (adding Magnum from another thread to your above-noted list), can you name five coasters you *do* enjoy? Or are you just being cranky today?
When did I say every coaster at CP was rough? Magnum is the only one I find intolerable. I think Corkscrew is a bit on the rough side, but it's an Arrow product so that's to be expected. Roughness isn't the problem with most of the CP rides, they're just not good. Iron Dragon, for instance.

I don't have anything against Cedar Fair per se. I grew up with Valleyfair as a home park and thoroughly enjoyed the vast majority of my visits there. I don't like what they've done with the park in recent years, but I still enjoy my visits. I have not been to Knott's but it interests me greatly. I think Cedar Point is a bit overrated, especially when it comes to their coaster selection, but I also think it's one of the best operated parks in the country. I don't think their customer service is astounding, but operations-wise Cedar Point is world class. I appreciate it for what it is. I just don't think it's the finest establishment in the country as 99.9% of enthusiasts do. The only Cedar Fair park I really dislike is Dorney, but we've been through that.
Yes, I do enjoy SFGAdv. I experienced zero problems during my two visits there. It was well operated, had a few really standout rides (ie Chiller) and was gorgeous. I consistently praise SFGAm. I used to rag on SFStL, but a visit there this fall turned my opinion around 180 degrees. I greatly look forward to my DLP visit next week. I think Islands of Adventure and BGT are among the best parks in the country. So yes, I do enjoy many parks and many coasters. I just don't think reading posts of constant praise is at all interesting. I'd rather debate something than just post, "Oh, yes, I agree...that ride is great" over and over again. Agreements are not particularly interesting.
As for the screenname, well, I had it first. :)
And Playa', you wouldn't last two days on RCTalk. For starters, nobody over there worships anyone else.
