for the new version (whenever)

When searching things, I'd like to see two options, one more than the other.

I would love, when I'm searching posts by someone, to filter which forum it is in. I sometimes just want to search for, say, posts by TeknoScorpion in the Trip Reports Forum, and nothing else.

Also, I would like to be able to filter whether TeknoScorpion actually started the thread, or is just posting in it. Is it his trip report, or is he just commenting on it?

Just my thoughts, if possible.

Make the little note at the end of an edited post ("Edited 7/30/2005...") automatically seperate itself from the post. I always leave a line when I edit to create that space (like right now, bah), but it always irks me when there's like three of those edit lines stuck directly to the end of someone's post.

Also, maybe make it overwrite previous 'edited' messages so you don't get a whole run of them like pkidelirium's post a few above this one.

It's the little things for me. :)
