It looks pretty compact--not as spread out as the new bobsled-type rides like Avalanche at PKD.
The highest portions have not been completed, and there are some of the lower portions that need to be done as well. So don't look for anything this fall unless they seriously kick it into overdrive.
coastin' since 1985
When you pour concrete, you have to let it cure the proper amount of time before you start building on it, so there's no way to rush that part of it along. Once you're up out of the ground, you can go like gangbusters.

Rob Ascough said:A lot more than 2-3 weeks was lost and it is HIGHLY UNLIKELY that the coaster will operate at all at any point during the 2006 season. And the 2006 season includes Phunfest.
to be exact is was only 2 weeks but in 2 weeks thats alot of work lost.
July 11, 2006:
Work Resumed: Although Knoebels reopened on the evening of June 30th, much work needed to be done. The Flying Turns construction crew was needed for recovery projects throughout Knoebels. Knoebels resumed construction on the Flying Turns on the afternoon of July 11.
June 27, 2006:
Work Temporarily Halted: Knoebels was flooded on June 27th, closing the park down at 7:00pm. Work was halted on Flying Turns and other projects as priority moved to recovery efforts.
^^^ that from knoebels
and who knows if it will be done in time for the fall fun thingy or not did not take them that long to bulid twister... only from november to july and this ride is alot little... so really we can't predict we just gotta sit back and wait!
Even though they halted work on June 27, I can't imagine them getting much work done the 3 days before that with all the rain falling.
Was there ever an "official" timetable given (from the park) as far as when the ride would be ready? Everything I've heard has been "someone said that..."
(sorry I stretched the page btw, not sure how to post better looking links)

- attractions can loosely be applied to anything (as is the practice of many parks in their advertising) - so attractions can be Fascination, Mini-Golf, remote control boats, magic show, bandstand shows, the eagle display, the museums, the north pole, etc....I'm sure it would all add up to over 100.
