Flying Turns Update

And all this time I never even knew there was a webcam for M:TR. Bet the time lapse videos are interesting too.

I was watching the webcam and it seems they are coming right along... seems like they added alot more ribs (look at webcam 2) to the work. I can't wait til its done!! I am going down in august but I do not have a dig cam otherwise I would get pic. btw nice pic joe. e ... I think they said something like it will be done by mid sep. I really am excited for it to get done!!! this has to be the best site for updates also all the other sites are not updated and no new pic or anything (stuff I all-ready seen) but not this one and I am glad so please anyone with even more updates or pic please post them... also I have created a knoebels fan club on myspace.com! if interested and you wanna join go to http://groups.myspace.com/knoebelsfans need more fans to join!

What is M:TR ? I thought this is all about the Flying turns project... lets keep it that way! lets get back on track and talk about that and not other stuff.

OK, like the man said... this is supposed to be about the Flying Turns. But everything's always Moosh-ia, Moosh-ia, Moosh-ia!

Anyway, that last pic Gemini has shown is going to be one wild section. I believe it's the turn just after exiting the tower. Just imagine riding that curve high up in the trough and looking down and seeing... nothing but the ground. Crazy.

Imagine rollerblading in that trough! ;)

I was looking at the webcam looks like the little construction dudes making some more bents for the ride.. yay! they where over by the stack of wood. so I hope they making more bents... also in the background I seen some crane type thing... so they are working in the back too...

I was just there on Saturday. From the looks of things, they look to be maybe about halfway done with the whole thing. It'd probably be a good bet that they will have this open by next season, but don't hold your breath for the fall.

I still haven't developed the roll of film with the pics I shot up there in May. (Yes some of us still do that).

But looking at the webcam, you can see how hazy it is up there today.
