Not because of what happened or because of the people, but because I can have a lot more fun with people I like and shorter lines during regular park hours.

But on-topic - as far as ways to enforce this list beyond posting "the list" and trying to have ticket sales people and security recognize these people, what about blocks on credit cards and personal checks? There would obviously still be ways around (i.e. - paying cash) but pehaps a new policy that if you're paying cash, you still have to give your name ... for uh, research purposes ... yea ...
I don't know, it seems like quite the task to enforce this list, but I think its a wonderful idea to start getting back at these people. There also needs to be a renewed commitment among park employees too. A month ago, me and my three friends had to practically scream at a Dragster employee to get him to handle a situation of line cutting. He just didn't want to be bothered, and was expressing much more desire to sit and sulk about the fact that he still had another four or five hours of work to go. If park employees got as incensed (sp?) about these activities as most enthusiasts and semi-enthusiasts (my title for those who aren't on message boards and such ... ) get, there would be a lot less of a problem. A public "undressing" by a park-op can be just as effective as having your name posted at the front gate as banned from the park.

Dood, NO unnecessary offense intended here at all, but you musta fell and busted your dome about 8 times to make a statement like that. I'm laughing my rear off as we speak.
You think that he honestly is directly the cause of the girl dying? She in all likelihood had know clue who he was. I couldn't care less about your personal vendetta, but the idea that you think we're a bunch of lemmings who follow blindly and ritualistically commit suicide because a guy and his fiance have a website is insulting.

I bought a new car in June and didn't put new ACE stickers on it. I usually only wear coaster-related attire when I'm *not* at a park anyway. Makes more sense that way.
I'd vote against posting the lists (plural -- each park's gotta have their own)... The shaming aspect of it would be pretty damn funny, yeah, but thinking about it a bit differently.... Some of these people are breaking rules just for attention. Posting their name everywhere just gives them more attention, so why reward 'em and give 'em what they want?
Besides, it'd just create a bunch of new flamewars about those people. Trolls arguing about trolls. That'd be a mess. Kinda like RRC. :)
Funny mugshots tho, yeah. Someone needs to send that to Lowtax.

No, not really. Because a buyout probably costs the park profits. I mean, if I had the money, I could buyout a park for me and my friends for a day and that would cost the park money.
Enthusiasts on the other hand pay for parks to stay open a little longer after they have made their major profits. Breaking even is just fine when you take into consideration that we asked them to stay open a little longer after park hours purpously so they could still make a majority of their profits to make their wallets happy. We as enthusiasts do understand that they need to make money, so we ask them for time after they make the most money.
About this stuff about parks realizing they don't have to do this anymore, if they ever thought they had to let us have events then they were pretty stupid in my opinion.(Ooooo, that'll be about another two pages of flame posts) We, well atleast I, never expected them to give us events, because, as Blitzjade said, the only good event are SRM and PPP. The rest are just bland and flavorless like school lunch pizza.
If parks ever thought that we expected them to give us events and ever thought they had to then I'm sorry for being a part of a group that even has people that might have given off that attitude.

Clearly an opinion. Those rectangular pizzas are all I miss about grade school.

Thanks for showing (at least me) a different perspective about this.
I keep forgetting about the "attention" thing. Maybe publishing this list isn't a good idea after all. After all a troll, especially a *psychotroll* only feeds on attention.
Cool Hybrid BTW. ;-) I wouldn't tarnish it with any stickers anyway. :-)

1) It might give pause to someone considering the same moronic move.
2) It makes it more clear to the community what moronic moves people have been willing to make in the past.

You pay $50. You got an event. You ride a roller coaster. You're a pompous, arrogant ass and you unfasten your seatbelt and you loosen your lapbar and, oops, you get hurt.
You sue the park for $10M. You lose because you're an ass, but the park spent $5000 in legal fees.
Again, I'm not sure I understand that correlation between paying for an event and getting banned for being an idiot.

Believe me when I say a park doesn't want to loose a customer, However if a person is irresponsible enough to risk their safety or the safety of others, Then a park should and would most likely rather loose that customer by banning them rather than have a incident.

Who cares who is on the list.
Several people here evidently do.
I'm not into libel here, and neither are the parks.
Naming people who are on a specific list is not, as far as I know, libel. Though I'm not a lawyer...
