They could do that without taking out shockwave, there is a strip of parking lot that is kinda triangular that is RIGHT next to RB and Viper (it's the bus parking lot, err well, part of it)..
Dualing RB would be probably the most amazing thing any park could do with a coaster.
I still wish SF had a steel Out-and-back the size of MForce.. I want to see SFGAm compete with Cedar Point in the Records race (SFGAm would win, considering they have much more room they can buy arround the park, whereas CPoint is basicly an island).

Replace a Schwartzkopf Spped Racer with a dime-a-dozen Mine Train? Why?
I would hardly call it a Speed Racer. I say they retheme it, look at some new station options. You could EASILY retheme that into a mine-train type ride.

That's what SFGAm Needs

"Right, and this would cost how many billions of dollars? Don't you know that SF is in debt? Don't you think SFEG deserves a coaster more then SFGAm?

Their last coaster was a Boomerang clone. The two most "popular" coasters are clones.
SFMM has got 4, yes, that's right, 4 new roller coasters, including Goliath, Jr. I'm just glad I'm going there in December :)
I just hope that SFEG could get a B&M hypercoaster. There is room in the park, "they" just have to take out the Pepsi Groves and extend the ride behind Island Kingdom Water Park. There is land behind the water park. The ride could be an out-and-back.
Does anyone agree with me?
Note - I know this is off the topic. But I just want people to realize that Six Flags is neglecting their smaller parks and "they" are just focusing on their big parks. If they are just adding new roller coasters at their big parks, then what's the reason to own smaller parks and doing nothing to it?

They are good at what they do, and this batch of giving the big parks 1st priority is a good business move.. They are probably keeping the smaller parks just to keep the name arround...
It all comes down to the market my friends..

"Like SFEG has hardly any room for a new ride, last yr. there new thing was a new show...."
And that is supposed to be great, why? I actually know several people who are getting very bored of SFEG...

It would not cost "billions", 15-20 million at the most.
That is how much it would cost just to build your "Millennium Force type" Coaster...Geez

Dualing Shockwave.... please. Coasters which are built to duel/race are built that way to begin with, not added after one side is built. The only thing Shockwave needs is for Morgan turn the trains into PR style trains, except with lapbars.
Redo the train system? Isn't that more trouble than it's worth? BTW, It does go around the outside of the original park. SFGAm never modified it to go around SW Territory because if it even crossed thier mind, they knew it's more trouble than it's worth.
American Eagle, how to fix it. You say something about the queue (not query) lines. Whats wrong with them? Nothing. Some people say get rid of the tent. Why? It serves a purpose. It's a food court. The only thing that needs to be done to AE is Intamin needs to be hired to come in and restore it to it's former glory, and the trains need to have the "wings" and headrests removed. I hate the wings, you can't comfortably have one arm resting on anything no matter what you do.
Gut out all flat rides? NO! If they do that, they better replace them with the exact same model, maybe of a newer year. I would die if Triple Play and the Lobster were gone.
Oh, DON'T MESS WITH THE WHIZZER! It doesn't need retheming either. Whats wrong with it? How could you theme it? It's a trip through the woods. It's in Hometown Square, and since it's there, just pretend it's themed to Little Red Riding Hood skipping her way throught the forest. If you want it rethemed, how about the TVs show all of the WB takes on LRRH.
Now, for 11 things to make it better IMO.
1. Return Haybalyer home.
2. Put a new rotor inside Cliffhanger's building.
3. Find a new home (inside the park) for B:TR, return Tidal Wave to it's home, retheme V2 so it fits with the Yankee Harbor theme.
4. Clean the restrooms better.
5. Lower the price of EVERYTHING! Especially parking. 10 bucks is too much. It should be 5 at the most.
6. Get more workers for one thing: Undercover line agents. If they catch someone line jumping, enforce the rules, kick them out of the park!
7. Put lap bars ala PR on Shockwave.
8. Replace every Dippin' Dot stand with real ice cream, and every real ice cream stand to Dippin' Dots. That way it won't be 10:1 dippin:real, but 1:10 dippin:real. I can never find real ice cream in the park except at 2 places, Orleans Place and Funnel Cake Foundary.
9. Remove Fast Lane or whatever the stupid thing is called. If they want to do it, do it right like Disney, make it free.
10. Remove both log flumes in favor of a liquid coaster.
11. Remove Viper, put it in my backyard, complete with maintainance and ride op crews, all for free.
-----------------
Hey, SFGAm management, can I buy a couple cages of Sky Whirl?
1. Return the American Eagle to its former glory. By removing the trim brakes. Adding the third train to each side. Racing the coaster all the time and maybe even turn one side backwards atleast for fright fest. Retrack the blue side. Also maybe get new trains without the wings and the buzz lapbars.
2. Open the bridge back up. Many people including a lot of the GP were very mad about the bridge being closed.
3. Landscape Shockwave a little better. All they really need to do is add some gravel or a couple inches of dirt with sod on top of the parking lot. It wouldn't take much work and they wouldn't have to chop up the parking lot.
4. Redo the front entrance. This doesn't have to be done but if they did all they really need to do is replace the chain link fence with a black iron fence.
These four things and maybe a few other little things are all SFGAM needs to be taken to the next level and become a great park.

Nope, they are German built. Schwarzkopf shuttles are from the Schwarzkopf factory, which is in Germany.
coaster895, are you sure AE used to run 3 trains? I don't think it did, it only has 1 transfer track, which would make you think it only had 2 trains it's whole life. (if you don't know where the transfer track is, it's after the turnaround going out of the station, right before the lift hill)

Hey, SFGAm management, can I buy a couple cages of Sky Whirl?
SCREW THE IDEA OF MESSING WITH SHOCKWAVE! I love that ride and STILL do not see what people complain about. The only time I hit my head on the ride is when the freaking management people have the ride come to almost a complete stop on the mid-course brake run they my head slams into the headrest. But the side to side action is negligible. Furthermore, there is no reason to landscape under Shockwave unless they are going to extend the park out that way. There is no ROI motivation for doing so. The rest of the park is so pretty that people who are influenced by landscaping are already pleased with the park.
Batman DOES fit into the Yanke Harbor theme. Gotham City (New York City) *IS* a "Yankee Harbor". 'Nuff said!
Now, if they wanted to do ANYTHING to improve the park, they would take the Orleans area and make it more "Mardi Gras"-like and add a bunch of gaudy, bright colored flats rides like the HUSS "Land of the Giants" type rides.
lata,
jeremy
--who notes that while V2, B:TR & Deja Vu names are criticized, Neither Iron Wolf, ShockWave, Whizzer, nor Demon have names that fit into the themeing!
-------------
Iron Wolf: Can you stand it?
SFGAm needs to add something small for next year. A HUSS ride would be great (topspin). Or get Tidal Wave Back.
Moving B:TR would be a good thing, since the theming on B:TR is a bit "out of date" at the moment..
Possibly add a "Big City" themed area...
Roaring Rapids or whatever needs to be redone.. that Universal Studio's ride is so amazing, I wish that SFGAm would look at that and double the size with similar theming.. although it would require all WB stuff..
SFGAm needs to expand a bit into their loney-toons rights, thats something that can make some of the rides a bit better.. People like Disney because they can relate to the rides.. how else could a dark ride like WTP have a 2 hour wait on a daily basis??

But the BIG thing that park NEEDS is a waterpark!!!!
I wouldnt touch anything else.
