Word on the streets is that El Toro should be good to go before month's end.
Anyone want to take those opening predicitons back or are we still banking on something going wrong? ;)
Edited: I just realized today is the 16th. I wonder if they're rolling as we type? *** Edited 5/16/2006 8:18:43 PM UTC by macho nachos***
My HOPES for The Bull run very high. My *expectations*, I'm trying to keep them in check....besides, Voyage goes "Underground".
I can't wait to ride it but I won't be able to get there until Coaster Celebration on June 17 since I will be leaving for CP after Memorial day for Coaster Mania

But I do like the Bull on the front of the train...even if it IS hard to make out inside the plastic shrink-wrap. :)
Or perhaps a new pulldown lapbar like on Powder Keg ?
Dante, who isn't serious. He hopes there isn't indeed OTSR's.
Had to get that pun out of the way. As long as the ride is fast and fun, I'm happy :)

'We didnt put OTSR on El Toro, but we still wanted to provide you with somehting to bang your head on.'
It might just be the angle of the pics...but that little wing thing looks evil on the ears. I dont get the point.
Perhaps they are barriers to keep people from reching out and touching something they shouldn't.

Good going with the u-lap bars...its about time Intamin. But what is the point of having something project forward near your head (the wings)?'We didnt put OTSR on El Toro, but we still wanted to provide you with somehting to bang your head on.'

If you compare the pictures of the el toro train and colossos or any other pre-fab woodie, you'll see that those wings won't actually be where you head is. At the very worst, they'll be maybe a little bit higher than the shoulder. And it isn't like they pertrude inwards so I don't get where you're getting anything about head banging at. Maybe the train cars being elevated on those wooden platforms is throwing everyone off.
