"THE DEMON HES GONNA GET YA"

Went to the park on Monday all Iwanted to do was ride the thing. It was down. So I went about my buissness. Weds morning I goto the park and ride Superman, I see after rideing it that there are three ops standing there not having a clue if it will open. With in 5 mins, it begins to test so I start a line with my GF.(10:15) By 11 it opens and I am on the first train front row. I loved it. It was everything I expected and more. My trip had been completed. I was more into rideing it then Superman.

"THE DEMON HES GONNA GET YA"

Just more rumor's are going to start thats all. If you want one for the money Fancy SFGAm is said to be done with B&M for awhile. Neways its great to see Deja Vu running again. Went to the park on Tuesday to find yet another great ride on the best coaster in the park. It felt much smoother and by my 50 & 35 min waits I'm feeling that there is a major improvement in loading times and the ride alone.
fancy,

What generator are you talking about w/ Deja Vu, and where did you hear the Medusa thing? Are you making it up or something? And what the hell does that have to do w/ Deja Vu!

This is gonna get closed now...

Well, I was at SFGAm today, Thursday, and DV ran like clockwork. I was at the park from 11:30 - 7:00, and it was running the whole time. The switchbacks were all full and the wait was about 55 minutes -- not too bad. Almost the same exact wait as Superman.

The ride didn't seem the least bit different. It was smooth, but I remember it being smooth before. Definitely a contender for best coaster in the park.

Just curious here: Does anyone have a clue what the h--- they were working on that caused the ride to be closed so long? There don't seem to be any differences.

In those pics, how could American Eagle actually have some of the switchbacks full! It must have been REALLY busy. Hopefully now August is here, the lines will die down.

No one really knows what they were working on. At least I dont. We dont have specifics.

It gets worse in August, SFGAMan!! BTW, I remember when ALL of the switchbacks for Eagle were used, that is, all of the ones UNDER the tent, and the line went all the way back to Demon. This was on days when they were running three trains per side and there were two hour waits for the ride.

I dont recall it getting worse. I remember last August, nice day, very light crowds until about 12. But it was till very light. Weren't the two hour waits towards when the ride first opened?

Maybe I just went on all the wrong days, but every time I went in August last year, there were Saturday like crowds.
But July is always has the most crowds, right? I know that in early June and most of June too, the crowds were light and I had very small waits. 10 min for V2. Wouldnt the same go for August. Early summer = light crowds, the middle of summer = big crowds, and the end of summer = light crowds like June.

Note that summer means June to August and not the actually dates.

The only benefit from Daja Vu being open is that it lessons the crowd from the other lines such as Raging Bull and Viper. The ride along is a another virson of Boomarang, you ride it just to have it in your track record.

In the newspaper today it said that you should avoid a Saturday in July or August because of crowds.

I just found it:

"Don't:...

Visit Great America on a hot, sunny Saturday in July or August. Little shade. Interminable lines."

I guess August is there cause it tends to be very hot in August.
