To our surprize all the GP ran to Raging Bull lol.We ran to Deja Vu the sign that was up was "this ride will open at 12:00" yeaaaaaaaaaaaa this was soo cool.Ok we started to wait for like 5 mins it was only me Brad and the Ride op. Then that guy from negative G came he had a Deja Vu shirt it was cool. Then SFGAm Freak 4 life came with Jason. We talked coaster talk for a couple hours waiting for Vu to open. Then Beau came out with the temp closed sign that was good at 11:45. Then at 11:50 all the backs to the cars were on. Then we waited the ride ops cleaned off the otsr's and the seats they said they were really dirty.
The first test was at 12:30 that was the mechanics testing it but then they did 3 tests and the ride ops took over. Did 3 more tests and it was read to open at 12:59 lol. All of us coaster entusiasts at the front of the line shouted so loud. And we yelled all the way through the walk up it was fun. Its so cool to be under this thing again. We made it to the station we were still yelling. Me and Brad took first car row A. Its been so long . I dont think i have ever screamed so loud not even on SUF lol. I said thank you to all the Full timers and supervisors and ride op and Mechanics. It was soo cool. Even more cool casue I did get the first ride and the first seat and car first dispatch of 2003. Very cool you gotta get out to SFGAm to ride this thing again. It felt so werid not having ridden it in 6 months it felt like a whole new coaster. I took some pics that can be found here. http://groups.msn.com/KYLECOASTERWORLD/sfgamjuly26dejavureopens.msnw?Page=1

Ok this is how it all played out. I arrive at the park at 8:30 with Brad. We saw a guy from Negative G who is always at the park.
I asked her the same questions, like how are the lines for Superman? She told me the same only (and I find this next statement very strange) it broke down while in line and was down for a a great part of the day. She told me also, V2 had very long lines. It is a sunday so hopefully the lines were just long for superman cause it being the weekend and all. Cause V2 never has a long line in the weekday, and probably shorter with Deja Vu's opening. Seems Deja Vu still has it's little glitches, but let's be thankful it didn't valley!

I have some bad news. My sister went to the park today and she actually got to ride Deja Vu for the first time and loved it, but she told me it broke down. She told me it broke down on the lift and was like that for like 10 minutes.I asked her the same questions, like how are the lines for Superman? She told me the same only (and I find this next statement very strange) it broke down while in line and was down for a a great part of the day. She told me also, V2 had very long lines. Well, don't be too thankful.... Sad to say that Deja Vu did indeed valley on Sunday at around 6pm. (It valleyed again around 7pm.) When I left at 8pm, it was still valleyed. That said, it ran pretty well from 1130-ish until 6pm.
Superman was running most of the day - it did go down for about 1-2 hours, but that was it. The lines were pretty long for it, although I got on in about 45 minutes after it came back up after the breaksdown.
Overall, the park was pretty busy, but aside from superman there wasn't one line over 1 hour, and most were less than that.

Here at Georgia, it valley yesterday but it did so going up the second tower. The train was lowered back down by the catch wagon exactly as it was designed to do. Maintenance had the train climb back up the tower within 10 minutes.
Once they got the riders off in the station, they did one empty cycle and turned the ride back over to the operating crew.
Like all Boomerangs, the Vu is going to be a little tempermental....

My favorite coasters:
1)Shockwave (SFGAm) 2)..... There is no # 2.
You said there were no lines over an hour except for Superman on Sunday. Does that include Deja Vu?
