CONFIRMED! B&M for WOF in 2006

I will also cast my vote that flyers blow.
I'm positive its an invert. Just go to the facts page and it says "Invert" http://www.rcdb.com/id3244.htm

Unless they got it wrong but I doubt it. :)

I don't think ALL flyers are boring....just the Beemers. The Volare is more *exiciting* in that you have to keep preparing for the BANGS...which oddly enough DIDN'T happen in the inversions, LOL.

WoF *is* getting an invert...it's higher on the coaster food-chain, LOL! ;)

Next CF park to get a new B&M other than CP's flyer I want better be MIA.
I'll agree that the B&M flyers are indeed boring. I much prefer Vekoma in this instance. Again I would rather have a B&M invert over ANY kind of flyer. Hell inverts are my favorite looping coasters period.

I know what happened here. WoF ordered a B&M invert, but the manufacturing plant accidentally fabricated flyer track. ;)

Yeah is Good!

I didn't realize this until just now, but in the SF chain the two Vekoma flyers went to parks with Vekoma inverts and the three B&M flyers went to parks with B&M inverts. Does this have to do with maintanence or interchangable parts or is it just a coincidence?

Hobbes: "What's the point of attaching a number to everything you do?"
Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."

I have rode S:UF at SFGAM, and its boring. The pretzel loop may be the best inversion in the park, but after that the ride sucks.
(placing toung into cheek)

Don't you people get the signifigance of the name "patriot"????

This is B&Ms' first attempt at a better form of rocket coaster, called the missle coaster!!! You know, the "Patriot Missle"!!!

Just a couple of G-Force junkies!

After riding S:Uf many times, I personally will be very dissapointed if it is a flyer. S:UF at SFGAm got very rough after two seasons and is no longer a good ride (was never that great). I'm just praying WoF made the right decision to go with an Invert...
Once again I will say, I'm positive its not a flyer. I'm positive its an invert. It says on RCDB. Go to the facts page of the patriot. It says Invert right there. For everyone to see.

I it's funny that everyone swears up and down next to RCDB. Just because they say something UNCONFIRMED is what they say it is, everyone jumps on the bandwagon and agrees 110%.

Can't we all just wait for an announcement before ripping at each other?

No, because it is inverted. :)

It's still me, here from the beginning back in 1999. Add 1500+ posts to the number I have in the info section if you care about such things.

MForce2k....Duane *has* made a few mistakes, but they're VERY rare over the past ten years. He's not "guessing"... ;)

The "fact" that it's an invert notwithstanding... ;-P

I honestly cannot believe you emailed Chris Ozmiek. Shoot there are many on this board, myself included, that know more of what is going in that park than the entire PR staff at WoF.

Now if you want REAL PR. Look up Lisa at SDC and well our own Raven Maven at HW. :)

Ground work is now occurring at WOF. Yeah!

I've ridden two of the three and have greatly enjoyed both. May not be the most exciting thing in the world, but I was highly *amused* on these rides at an *amusement* park.

That said, I also enjoyed my visit to SFMM, so perhaps there's not much we share taste in.

I [too] believe that this will be an inverted as it makes the most sense to do at a park such as WoF, relative to all business and PR status for CF, but I would still wait to hear it straight from their mouth.

It just doesn't seem, to me at least, to really do any good to anyone to yell about something we dont really know the least about yet..

I have ridden the ones at Atlanta & Chicago and while they were "fun," they are no overly "woohoo." As for you liking SFMM - you might want to get a checkup (from the neck up). ;)

I have ridden the one in Atlanta and soon to in Chicago and from what I felt. It was one of those giggle kind of rides. Not extreme, just fun. I enjoyed it. I'm looking forward on going on it again in Chicago later this year.

First of all, SFGAm is an excellent park. Hit Vu in the morning or at closing otherwise you'll wait probably more than an hour. Make sure you ride Bull in row 9. Also, our S:UF has no tunnel, and I heard yours is a little smoother. I could be wrong though. Enjoy SFGAm.

Alrighty. I'm not sure what you mean my 'yours.' Since I don't live anywhere near Atlanta. But... ;)

O beleive me, I know I'll have fun. I'm just worried about lines and getting everything done in 1 day.
