PLEASE READ: This post wasn't meant to offend or anger anyone; I apologize in advance if it does. So please don't post a reply just to rant about it. :)
And I believe that was after I ewas rudly insulted, bashed and had my opinion flushed. I simply discribed how most of the people where acting. Calling someone a prick is indeed insulting.....but then again......so is calling them a fool and some other names. yet discribing someone as being arrogant, condecending and insolent....i don't think so.
long live the cult of "JEFF". anytime anyone ever has any complaints or suggestions on this site, Jeff's toadies start kissin jeff's behind, or threatening anyone who wont.

1. People talk about infringement of their "freedom of speech", but that is incorrect. No one is infringing on your ability to speak by closing your post, they are just deciding not to foot the bill to disseminate your speech. It's a choice of resource management. Would you spend your money for things you find wasteful or unimportant.
2. The moderation of these forums has been referred to as a dictatorship. That again is a misconception. There is regulation. Most of us agree that the U.S. is a democracy, but that doesn't mean that there isn't considerable regulation, same here.
3. Not everybody here are clones. I know for a fact that 2Hostyl (no offense in singling you out, I just seem to remember your opinions more) and others often have divergent opinions (and this makes conversation much more interesting). There is a large range of ages and types of people represented here. There are a lot of teenagers here, there are a lot of twenty somethings, and a lot of older professional people.
4. Why do you want to be martyred (by having this post closed or booted from the site) if you don't want attention. Jeff, does the best he can to provide a great site for coaster enthusiasists. I agree sometimes that his comments are condescending, but every person is entitled to a fault now and then. Don't concentrate on that fact, focus on the fact that he is providing you with entertainment for no cost at all.
In closing I think that everybody who has written these dissentions recently should realize that while this site has some small flaws you likely will not find a comparable site in terms of content, quality, and constant updates. Appreciate what this is, and if you don't it doesn't hurt anybody's feeling if you just leave, you really don't have to tell us all about it.
1) No one is forcing you to be here.
2) Jeff doesn't *have* to pay the bills. (They're not cheap)
3) There is no cosmic "right" that CoasterBuzz either exists or allows you to be here.
We should feel grateful that this resource exists so that we can spend WAY too much time learning more about something we all love.

Dude, the very thing you're complaining about now is what you were complaining about to begin with. People with different opinions are all posting on this topic, and just because they don't agree with yours, that doesn't mean they should be discounted or removed. And just because the vast majority of us (who have paid $20 to be in the club, unlike you, I'm sure) agree with Jeff doesn't make our opinions less valid. You say we're kissing Jeff's feet, or whatever, but maybe it's because we understand whats expected of us and we mind our manners. And all of us have griped at one point or another, but most come back cause this is a fun site with intelligent people who share our interests. And if someone is overly-offensive, rude, or just plain stupid, the post or thread is gone, just because it is not conduisive to the conversation here. That's all there is to it, if Jeff was truley biased against critisism, this post would have been shut down long ago, Trev.

I voiced my opinion to see if anyone agreed with me. Obviously no one agrees...but all anyone had to say was if they agreed with what I said or if they didn't, and it they felt an urge to insult me, all they had to do was not post at all. Its amazing how I make a post that is not in anyway nasty or hostile and suddenly im being assaulted by everyone. Look...I made my thought known and that was it.

As for the "freedom of speech" thing - this isn't the street, it's a website owned by someone. In this case it's Jeff. In theory it's the same as walking into his house and spouting crap at him. I'd ask you to stop too. That's esentially what's happening when a thread gets closed.
