Looking forward to more details emerging.. I had a blast last year at Dorney. I'm pretty sure I saw something in another thread that Chuck Hutchinson was no longer with Dorney. Wonder who'll be running it on their end this year. ...

^I could sit in ejector seat all day. Weird how that has no effect on me. But, Gemini kicked my a$$! I love the punishment, so I wouldn't get off.
Thinking of trying a different park this year. If CW does Behemoth again, I will be up there.

I was the 2nd highest fundraiser at Cedar Point last year, and honestly all I did was post the link on Facebook once a week for the month leading up to the event, and send two mass emails to people I thought would be likely to consider it. The first email was about a month before, and the other was a few days before the event, since people often wait till the last minute.
Excluded from those emails were people who had donated the previous year, to whom I sent a separate message thanking them and asking if they would give again. Interestingly, I didn't have that many repeat contributors but I did have a few.
Admittedly, 2/3 of what I raised was from a very generous friend whose employer matched his donation, but I still would've had $750 even without that. I like to remind people that ANY amount is appreciated, and that donations can also be made anonymously or with a personal check. And I don't know if this makes any difference, but I put in my own money first to kind of get things going and show that I've contributed too... like putting the first dollar in the tip jar. :)
I just got word that we should have some more information within the next week or so. Stay tuned.

I'm just trying to keep the noise alive Jeff. No reason to be so rude.
