You have to manually collect the stats. I wish there was an easier way to see the totals, etc... But it's all manual.
I have 3 days left to raise 123.00 if I want to reach my goal! Regardless if I hit it or not, I am blown away at what I've been able to raise so far. So thankful for the generosity of friends, families, and even total strangers :)

Yeah... I'm sure there is an Admin role on the FirstGiving site to collect stats. I'm sure Kara or whoever else is working on this event for GKTW would love to manually click through each page to collect the info. Especially since the javascript navigation gets messed up around page 16 :)

There's an easy work around for that Josh.

Oh, sorry. :)
Well, once I get to the page where it jumps to the end, I click previous page until I get back to where I was. Then, as I need to move forward again, I just click the back button.

Jason, where do you get those stats at? I am wondering?
Going through each fundraisers pages one at a time here:
I'm not going to do another tally. But, as many as 8 more people signed up since yesterday. I can't really know if they all signed up for Coasting for Kids with out going through all 302 pages again though. Just skimming through a few of the big fundraisers, we've made at least a few hundred more since yesterday. Plus if we can get everyone who signed up to at least get the minimum $50 we would have at least another $5,000

Success! Just hit my goal this afternoon! So excited. I didn't think I would be able to raise as much as I did, but I am so thankful for all my friends/family/anonymous folks who have been so generous!
Cant wait to see what our final total is on Thursday! For those of you coming to Cedar Point for the event, I will see you there!
Josh M.
I've managed to pull another couple hundred in the last few days myself.

I guess that all my friends are tight wads this year. I am just over 1/2 of last years total. I have had a lot of people tell me they would donate, but so far they have not. I fear that there is a fine line in asking and becoming a PITA.
Before you can be older and wiser you first have to be young and stupid.
I guess living in Michigan in the metro Detroit area has shown just how hard it is to get donations. I'll be lucky to even get 1/2 of my goal. Well some donations are better than no donations I guess.

I've done the best I can. I would guess I at the very least bordered on the line of PITA, but I'm not sure I care. I'm thankful for Facebook, because without it, I wouldn't have raised nearly what I have. I'm still hoping a few more donations trickle in so that I can meet my second goal, but I'm not sure it's likely at this point.
I'm pretty excited for Thursday, though. I hope it's a good time.
I'm so proud of everyone! Whether you've raised funds, donated funds, spread the word, or plan to come out and cheer on the participants...you've done a lot for the kids and families served by Give Kids the World.

I'm inching closer to my goal, and I know I have at least one more small offline donation coming in the mail tomorrow. It was an arbitrary number to begin with, so it doesn't really matter, but I'm just glad I've raised what I have. I agree that Facebook made things a lot easier and less PITA-y. :) I also sent out a mass email to people I thought would be likely to donate, and with a few followed up when I saw them in person or spoke on instant messenger (I'm the king of passive segues). I was actually kind of surprised by some of the people who came through, and how much they gave.
Oy. One of my friends anonymously just gave a very generous donation. Consider my goal reached! :)
Excited for Thursday as well... I'm NOT trying to jinx it, but it looks like we'll have great weather too.

No, you're really more of a geek.
Hammond, you should be an investigative reporter. Thanks for taking the time to do all of that research. It's so helpful!
I'm very close to my goal of $500, as well. I'm not sure that I'll make all the way up to my goal, unless I get some unexpected additional donations, but I am very happy, surprised, and relieved that I collected so much.
Thanks RGB, who didn't remain anonymous, by the way. (You are still my favorite.)
...And thanks to the other anonymous CoasterBuzzers too. I know who you are, but your secret is safe with me. :)
