Celebration City is Open

Will lucky you (about the trip)
I'm not sure if I would like the ornament or not... haha. Maybe if it showed us a little info about... 2005?

It could happen. I think the more exciting stuff will be going on in KC next season though.

BTW: Nice picture of you and your girlfriend. ;)

"KC??? What have they done do deserve a good ride? lol " asked CoasterBill

You mean beside belly-aching and whining on UnWOF about HOW much this park DESERVES a new coaster? :)

Jim Wolgamuth

Now, who would go and do a thing like that on Around the World (tm)? [the site formerly known as UnWoF].

LOL! :)

hmm..... I wonder ;)
I just wonder guys... I just wonder... But I guess you guys could build a coaster and start a good ole' Missouri coaster war... It could be the first. ;)

Hey guys as for WOF I have a feeling we will see something similar to Xcelerator! At least that is what I hope! I know there have been flags sited but where in the park have they been seen? O GOD LET IT BE AN INTAMIN!

------------------
THE SCARIEST PART OF THE RIDE IS THE LIFT HILL!

Why doesn't someone just start a WoF thread.... besides me, cause that park is not the park I have knowledge for ;)

I doubt we will see something like Xcelerator - mainly because of the problems that CF:LP has had with both of their "rocket coasters". As for why you want an Intamin, I have no idea. Their rides have lots of down time, and that's not something WOF needs. Just looking at the last three rides that they have built for CF:LP [Perilous Plunge, Xcelerator, Top Thrill Dragster] you can see that their reliability is "sub-par". Why not go for a proven winner "BEEMER" and get a quality ride?

As for the flags - you'll just have to look harder :)

Has SDC definately been ruled out for a new ride next year?
So is all the attention going to CC?

The only thing more intense than Fireball is Delirium at PGA - it's a lot taller than Fireball, but Fireball is by far my favorite flat ride in MO.

I believe these two rides are completely identical except for the fact that PGA's ride holds 32 riders while CC's only holds 24. Otherwise, both are exactly the same (both swing to about 65').

They are both crowd favorites that's for sure.

No Bill, SDC hasn't been ruled out for getting anything new in 2004. I would imagine though that they will go ahead and get that "Birds of Prey" show as that wouldn't be too expensive - and they could set it up in that theatre next to Waterworks Waterboggan.

That wouldn't be too hard... But if they end up going for the Birds of Prey show, that doesn't mean we should rule out to 'duelling-racing wood' in 2005?

So are we sure that CC will be adding something next year or not...
And... is there a single riders line for Wildcat?

Bill - you should use the edit feature instead of posting back to back in a thread.

I don't know anymore than you do, and I doubt most people on here would know. I do know, as Jim said, that HFEC knows that CC is feeling growing pains and they will attempt to remedy that for the next season. Ala more rides, another sit-down restaurant and another theatre

Maybe we will get some news about CC's future during the ACE Midwest Coaster Blast on July 26, there is going to be some presentations from the park during the opening reception.

Dwane

I sure do hope so. As of now it looks like Missy and I will be there for the MCB. Can hardly wait. :)

Sorry, I'll edit from now on. (in a way that was a bump) ;) haha

Have they given out the plans for the MCB yet?
