Top Thrill Dragster -- The most intense, unbelievable, and spectacular fifteen seconds on any coaster, anywhere, ever.

Wildcat...like this, short but oh so sweet. Straight track? Well, there *is* the lift, ROFL....man, it's the wooden version of Ga Scorcher...awesomely twisted. Coasters that are *called* twisters, they haven't seen a twister before. My take is a cross between LR's smoothness (yes, it's THAT smooth) and Roar's layout, only moreso. This is definitely a family-type ride, but it is near perfection at that. The entire ride is banked turns, swift and well-paced, until the two small bunnies at the very end. The *jump* onto the brakes reminded me of KG's Twister...what a FUN ride. Kudos to GCII, Jeff Pike, and to Celebration City!
Thunderbolt, look OUT for the drop. If you've ridden a Windstorm, you know which one I'm talking about, but this one takes *momentum* into the drop.....WOW!
JackRabbit...it's all the best parts of a wild mouse (read:the end) with a three-car train and plenty of airtime...
The flats of note, the Fireball and the Orbiter (Flying Carpet) are run at HIGH intensity, short duration cycles....be prepared...:)
More later, just wanted to say HI, let everyone know I'm home safe, and that it was absolutely fantastic to meet up with so many of you at SRM. The tragedy at least served the purpose of really making it clear how important our friendships are...(P.S.....Whatever happened to Coasterbuzz)....I love you guys....:)
Final note: My sig got lost at Orlando Int'l Airport...at least I got my luggage...:)
Bill - Coaster Christmas is the 2nd weekend in December - or at least it was last time I checked. Jeff M might move it, it all depends on Lisa at SDC.

Got my first ride on JR (6/21) and it has to be one of the worst coasters I have been on. I didn't think there was a company out there that made worse coasters than Vekoma - but there is - it's Miler. I was in pain from the get-go, and will be passing this one up for now on. Disappointing is all I have to say, it looked like fun.

Anyway... I thought I would ask this here instead of creating a new thread. How is SDC on Fridays? Is it very crowded and how are the lines?

Am I really that shy?
"Shy One" I was at SDC a couple weeks ago and early in the morning you can do laps on Wildfire no problem, I rode Wildfire several times, I am lucky with my work schedule I have Fridays off so thats my day to go and so far its great as far as no lines to speak of and when there is the wait isn't bad at all, it starts picking up in the afternoon of course but by then I am looking towards heading to Celebration City while its not busy and getting rides on the Wildcat.

Well we were forced to ride in the back, and I guess the "whip-like" action was even more intense there. I too felt like I was cheated of my precious time of riding Wildcat. To make it worse I had to actually wait in line to ride JR. Oh well.
