Yes. It's looks pretty fun cool to me. Happy time fun cool sparkle coaster.

You spent too much time in Japan, man. ;)

So does this qualify as a parking lot coaster? :p

Google Gatekeeper in Google images and you will see a few more leaked renders. I assume that these leaks came from a slip up concerning the website, and Lance cropped the image to hide the CP website stuff.

Gatekeeper looks freekin' awesome! Unless the Apocalypse is at hand this year, I am definitely making the five hour drive to Sandusky next year for sure. Look at the first 175' dive. Look at the keyholes over the new entrance! CRAZY!

I wasn't too amused by the name at first, but now that I see that it is probably some kind of nickname for some kind of mythical bird, it's growing on me.

The logo is intense!

I would go as far as saying that this is the coolest addition to Cedar Point since Millennium Force! Having been on Dollywood's wing coaster, I predict that this will be a winner!

Looks truly amazing. Now if they could just do something about it's capacity...

I hope Rick Moranis does the safety spiel.

Looks truly amazing. What's the order of elements after the MCBR?

If you are not joking...

That was one thing I found that could be improved with Dollywood's wing coaster. Waiting for everyone to get out of the way before letting new riders on seemed to be time consuming. Perhaps a separate load and unload station would help? Maybe the extra time it takes doing it the way Dollywood does it really isn't a big deal because of saving time somewhere else? I dunno... lol

Just buy a fastlane pass, sws. No need for higher capacity.

Definitely excited about this one. The flip right after the lift, going into the loop... the twist between the two keyholes. And that certainly does make a "front gate statement" as Mr. Ouimet put it.

Plus, I'll get to switch to a new bird-themed avatar. :)

It really depends on whether the can advance the train from unload to load with the restraints open. On X1 (I think?) they can't and so it's actually slower to have the separate unload because the time they save in emptying the train is lost in them having to close all the restraints, advance the train, then open all the restraints. I would think just having two exit stairwells for both sides, one at each end of the station and a pretty big platform would do the trick.

So far I love this ride, it definitely "one ups" it's North American competition, don't you think? This looks just like what the wing rider design needed- real height, plenty of stunts, a snappier layout, and great views not only from the air but from the ground.
I can't wait to see more and better details, and hopefully tomorrow's reveal will include an animated rendering as well as a shot or two of the station and new plaza area. From the overall front gate view, and I may be wrong, but doesn't it look like poor Space Spiral might've kept it's place anyway? I know, I know,...just sayin...

I opened the first flap and literally screamed with excitement as I saw a little section of neon orange and blue peeking through-- the HIGH VOLTAGE sign!

I can't imagine how much more excited I would have been had I seen that it was actually the original "HGIH VOLTAGE" sign from opening weekend after the "retheme."

Filler track/turns so that it can run 3 trains. If it was a long brake run people online would complain too much

It's always a pathetic attempt at humor. The ride looks awesome.

Speaking of capacity, I just noticed the rendering includes 8 rows of seats, rather than the standard 7. Might boost things a bit, (plus provide CP with another "est" fact to brag about!)

^ X Flight also has 8 car trains. It will be interesting to see how the ride runs with 3 trains. X Flight runs a lot more efficiently than I expected, but it will take some real work to run 3 trains on a Wing Coaster, especially considering the rendering shows a single load/unload platform

Looks awesome. It will create a real spectacle when entering the park from the front. I won't be surprised if they do a load/unload station for it. I guess we will find out later today.

Looks like the real answer to running 3-trains efficiently would be duel stations (unload/loading). Otherwise, I wonder how CP plans to make the unload/loading process easy and quick given that X-Flight and Wild Eagle tend to have issues here.
