Cedar Point flyer all but confirmed?

I searched for the thread where this was being discussed but for the life of me I couldn't find it.

Something big is happening. Disaster Transport & Space Spiral will be dismantled this season to make space for @!!$!(*%%. We're sad to see them go, but are excited as we fly into the future. Stay tuned for more!

Also of note is the amount of likes (968) and shares (321) they got in 16 minutes.

So....with regards to Disaster Transport....scrap, sell, or relocate within the chain?

I sincerely hope the name is not Banshee. I don't know why, I just do.

I've never thought Banshee was a good name for a coaster. I thought it was silly to drop the name for the reasons given, but it just never did anything for me.

It's a bit ironic that Holiday World used it on their Falling Star for years...yet it was too controversial for Cedar Point?

Well, Holiday World is known for being edgy.

I didn't even pay attention to the "@!!$!(*%%". I took "fly into the future" as the confirmation.

Cedar Point is not getting a flyer. Remember this is still Kinzels project and he said Cedar Fair would never build a flyer, and they never did.

I know. That's why I was confused when I was searching for the thread. :)

If it's going to be a wingrider--and apparently it is--the park should name it "Flapper" and have all the ride ops dress like the cast of The Artist...
