Where all we've kept hidden will be set FREE!
Free Bird! Free Bird! Free Bird!
Where's my Bic lighter when I need it?
I like the idea of it being bird themed, since it will be a wing coaster, however, Dollywood already did that. They need to hire ME to be their creative director.

They could've replaced the crappy space-themed coaster with a brand new well-done space-themed coaster.
No one uses the good ol' space theme anymore...
I have a friend who can see Russia from her house in Alaska. I'll ask.

Oh we still have a space program. We just don't have a manned space program. So since we can't see space with our own eyes it made no sense to keep DT around. The cool thing to do is to burrow underground. Which is why the new ride is Sonic the Hedgehog: The Ride.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
The bars look like a gate ;-).

Dueling GCIs? Could we dream?
No, I can't dream, because you keep making me lose sleep with these ideas..first it was the racing El Toros, now this.
The amusement park rises bold and stark..kids are huddled on the beach in a mist

I'm holding my breath for an inverted, launched, woodie, wing rider that's a collaboration between CGI, GCI, RCCA, and Intamin designed by Werner Stengel that's spacebird themed.

I received a big ole' box from the wonderful Marketing team at Cedar Point today. I can't imagine how hectic things are for them with the upcoming announcement, and yet they made time to go scout out some more awesome stuff from the demo site for GKTW to auction off!
I opened the first flap and literally screamed with excitement as I saw a little section of neon orange and blue peeking through-- the HIGH VOLTAGE sign!
My co-workers first thought I had won the lottery, and then started shaking their heads at how I excited I was over an old, handmade sign. "You don't understand!" I said, trying to reassure them I wasn't crazy. I'm going to be honest, I was a little nervous to pick it up after seeing it from a distance for all those years. It was definitely a surreal moment I won't forget.
Wait, there's more! They also sent the DETOUR sign, which hung at the top of the stairs after the turnstile. This dates back even further as part of the original theming.
So here's your chance, Buzzers, to buy some totally awesome, historic Cedar Point memorabilia and actually have an excuse to tell your non-coaster lovin' friends and family..."it's for charity!" There you go, totally justifiable!
Thank you for your support.

I have not been to Cedar Point since 1999, and it looks like I really need to go back. There has been so much added.
Yea. I somehow got a peek at Gatekeeper. It looks amazing! Teal is the new black!

Lance posted the rendering to Screamscape's Twitter feed this evening. It's not a huge secret.
