Audioslaved: You missed Flyer, but I believe the design of the track ruled that one out too.
Honestly, I doubt that CP is putting in anything from B&M. Like CPLady said I expect "beemer" or something of that nature to be one of the upcoming "clues." This is because it looks like the "clues" are telling us what CP is not getting. Time will tell though.

People bitch that DT is ugly and takes up prime viewing space of the beach. However, many also always want to replace it with a massive wood coaster. Would this not also block the view?
I agree with others that the view from the ride is a consideration, but my immediate reaction to your post was that it would still be very practical to build a woodie on the beach could achieve a balance between the midway and the beach and lake beyond.
I do like DT as a ride but my main complaint about the building isn't even that it's ugly but that it completely destroys the relationship between what's in and out of the park. Nobody can deny that a huge part of CP's appeal has always been the park's physical geography and while I think the park has never capitalized on that enough the real estate that DT chews up is its most egregious offence.
It's even more obvious when you have a really succesful installation right next door with the big wheel framed by WT with the sand and water beyond. As a place design nerd I think the DT building is undeniably ugly but more importantly it really mars everything around it at the same time a way a woodie (probably) wouldn't.
I think sometimes the lust for shiny roller coasters obscures the reality of what I think the park is obviously missing.

I'm thinking that the recent clues "a foot here, a foot there, a foot everywhere" + Gee See Eye indicates a wooden coaster, which would require more footers than a steel coaster. It also makes sense that CP would invest in a wooden coaster given the current economy since wooden coasters cost a fraction of the cost of a steelie. Also, it appears that a wooden coaster can be erected faster than a steelie given how recent projects have progressed. I believe that if it was a steel coaster, we would have footers in the ground already.
I hope it's a wooden coaster AND a water ride or a wooden coaster that incorporates water somehow.

Yes I agree with what you and the others have said. I guess since I always get one of the lake suites at Breakers I do get much of the lake experience during my visits. The non-hotel or lake view guests do not get this.
I would not mind them even opening it completely up as a boardwalk with a modest woodie and some well lit classic flats. Kind of an area that can kick back to older history of the boardwalk parks. The thing Kennywood tried to do with Lost Kennywood. Even though that area has changed and is really no longer just the oldies.
I am board tonight and my twelve year old is having a birthday sleep over. Maybe I will lock myself in my home office and and draw something up to entertain myself and give others something to laugh at. :)
Still, I love the Swiss Bobs coaster experience and still not completely ready to loose this ride. Maybe I can fit it as the original in my drawing. Since this ride really is the steel version of the classic Flying Turns.
A new woodie would be nice but I think it's a waste to build one on that parcel of land IMO.
