I had a vision once that I thought came from God, it involved a casino....hence I am now agnostic. :)
Meanwhile, the Rita theory is looking more like a possibility to me.
Just because of the signs posted around the construction zone, which is really giving out hints on what the coaster may be.
"We're going in a whole new direction" (could spin in different directions)
"Hold onto your spurs" (possibly meaning your shoes because you'll be floorless)
"Y'all up for some serious sidewinding" (cars placed on the sides of the track)
It may be some kind of new 4-D coaster by Intamin which would be similar to Arrow's X-style, including the trains... but would be on a fixed axis. The main concept would be just that you have no track above or below you.
When you put all those signs together for the hints, it seems to make sense. I think some of the other signs (I can't remember what they were) also make it seem to point to some kind of coaster where the trains are on the outside of the track.
Who says Cedar Point can't be bold & daring of which Intamin would try to put trains on the outside of the track? It would certainly garner a lot of attention, and possibly triumph X as the most original coaster out there.

I had a rollercoaster book given to me as a gift, and as I was drooling through it, it mentioned that Intamin was working on a 4D version. I'm at work and I can't remember the title of the book, but it was from late 2005/early 2006 and the authors last name was Hooper. Anyways, if that were true and CP were to get one, I think it would be blissfull. And I think that with all of the secrecy around this attraction, it will be grand in some way. I don't know that they would go through this trouble of keeping a 'small' coaster a secret - but who knows. This secrecy causes the media (and us enthusiasts) to stay focused on figuring it out.
I need to stop posting well tired. *** Edited 6/14/2006 4:02:25 PM UTC by TonyBlackjack***

I was mistaken with the author. It's "Roller Coasters: A Thrill Seeker's Guide to the Ultimate Scream Machines" By Robert Coker - not Hooper. ; )
Here's a link to it at Barnes & Noble...
