I wonder what there doing for Nessie. The only complaint I have about the trains are you can't get you hand out of the side of the restraint on the outside and hold on.
Hmmmm.....lapbars perhaps? Not that it really needs them but they would be nice :)
They'll probably restore the tunnel for the helix that has lost most (if not all) of its special effects throughout the years.

Don't forget to vote for your favorite wooden coasters @ http://www.geocities.com/wcoasterpoll - the polls are open until November 30th!

Are there any construction pictures for the 4D theater's at BGT?

This is really interesting. I too wonder what they're gonna do to Nessie.

My guess is they'll remodel the station and helix tunnel and put stronger theming in like BB Wolf.

Can anyone confirm that they are removing BBW after 2003?

Why would they remove one of their most popular and family-friendly rides?

Where the heck did you get this from?!?! They would never get rid of BBW. That ride is awsome and is still very popular. They have no reason to remove it unlike Drachen Fire.

Have you hugged a Beemer today?

Exactly. You'd never know. BGW could piss us off again by the removal of another one of their best coasters. I remember it like it was yesterday.. the first ride on a suspended coaster... I love BBW.

My sister (a huge BGW fan), who lives in Alexandria, VA heard a rumor from a co-worker that they were removing BBW to make room for a new coaster, and like RollerJunkie said, they could take us by suprise. (I thought DF was an awesome coaster and they would never remove it)

I really love the Busch parks - they are a total class act.

Who says you need a new coaster every year to be a great park? Hogwash.

well, all I will say about the coaster that is having its 25th anniversary is that it will once again do what it is supposed to do.

regarding the Loch Ness thing....you should get some confirmation on that, and if its true, it should be posted in the news section....and the same for the Big Bad Wolf rumour...thats REALLY hard to believe

I really hope they decide to do the work necessary to keep BBW....it's a really unique ride, the only heavily-themed suspended and a GREAT family ride. BGW, due to its location, really is more a "family park" and needs to keep rides like this. I can imagine the suspended coasters are expensive to maintain, but the good ones are *worth* it IMO.....I would be exceptionally disappointed if that came to pass....

As far as Nessie, that's just great news period...:)

If they get rid of BBW I will be totally devastated. I love riding this thing at night. That only is worth keeping it for if you ask me. BBW is a classic.

Why would they get rid of it to make room for another coaster? They have ALL that land back there where Drachen Fire once stood.

I really don't understand why they keep removing these great coasters for no reason. They just remove it and have all this extra land left. You'd THINK they'd build another coaster there, but NOPE, just extra land with no purpose. They haven't sold DF yet, so money can't be the reason. I will seriously not be surprised at all if they decide to take out BBW and leave a big fat piece of land there.

The terrain isn't flat around BBW like where DF was. Imagine a coaster diving onto the Rheine river and roaring through the woods. The area where BBW is just a better place to put a coaster.

I don't like you.
