BooBuzz 2009: September 19

You should just save your money for the week after and then you can spot me in my Blue and Gold at Holiday World :).

Well at least it is not Maize & Blue. Yuck

Is there a reason the post above by DaveStroem the left handed part of the outline box is not quite right. I think I have noticed it on other posts sometimes as well??

^^There is something we can both agree on Dave.

I do wish I could have done one of these events, odds are I will not be as close to CP after this year and I struck out 4-4 on this always being on a home game weekend for me. Touring the scream shop would have been sweet, hope everyone going has a blast!

There is no Fall Affair this year.

Forgive me for asking... but there isn't?

I call Cedar Point my home park even though I live in the Chicago Suburbs.

The quote was from March. Give the guy a break, sometimes even we men change our minds. :0

I didn't change my mind, things just... changed.

Anyway, still getting the ticket selling straight (we may have pre-order directly from the park, maybe), but the date is solid, Maverick ERT is solid, and an afternoon tour on Millennium Island for views you've not likely seen during the day. Plus you can see all of the missing trees. :)

Darn, I was looking forward to that Holiday World event too. I guess I'll just have to "settle" for Cedar Point ;)

There is a Holiday World Fall Affair event this year on September 26th. That's what changed from when Jeff posted his original comment in March. Things opened up and now we benefit! :)

Plus you can see all of the missing trees.

Is that like the old question of how much dirt is in a hole.

Well, Maverick was announced on September 6th, so it's possible that we will at least know what it is by BooBuzz. Maybe we'll even see some footers to complement the missing trees.

D_vo's avatar

^I certainly hope they'll have footers by then, if they're going ahead with the 500' floorless... ;)

Here's the info for BooBuzz 2009!

We're also working on getting a print-at-home ticket link, so you'll be able to print tickets ahead of time, if you'd like. Remember, two guests per CoasterBuzz Club member, and they'll be checking membership cards at the gate. If you want to join the club, please do so early enough to make sure you'll get your card in time.

AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!!! It is actually less than 2 months away! Are we going to be able to order BooBuzz 2009 shirts?

ridemcoaster's avatar

hmmmm.. I may have to go.. Just to exercise my CB membership privileges for once.

It does seem like a lot of fun..

Sounds so cool, Maverick for an hour with a smallish group sounds great.

Jeff's avatar

There will not be T-shirts. Sorry.

You and just daughter #2 I presume??

Well there are 6 trains that each hold 12 so a group of 72 would be perfect. Of course the front seats would have to change out after each lap. :)
