B&M Inverts: Cobra rolls or Batwings?

I believe they count the 7 'elements' as:

Helix, drop, the 4 inversions and the "S" bend near the end. (or so I've heard)

Basically, that's the 7 things the ride does.

Wow. This got fun. Maybe I'll dig up one of these a week.

Welcome back, red train, how was your ride?!
hmm...I guess i'll conform to the site on this one.

Fire is beeter than ice, IMO Ice is too, straight forward: Drop, then turn, zero-G, turn, cobra roll... Where as Fire is faster and has inversions not in an expected order. Fire is just better.

As for Cobra vs Batwing, Batwing by far due to the roughness of cobras since the beginning. the Hulk is goo because it gives you that moment to take a breath in between inversions, which is my reason I like batwings.

Batwing
I like batwings better because they are more fun to me.
I think Hershey refers to pretty much every turn and drop as an element. Whatever works, I guess.
I'm glad they weren't counting the lift hill, or even worse, the brake run. I can imagine the planning sessions-- "Are you sure there's 7 stars in that thing?" "Yeah, so come up with one more idea."
Personally,

The two inverts with batwings (Montu and Top Gun) are awesome. The quick flip at the entry to Montu's batwing makes me love it, and the G's at the bottom of Top Gun's batwing too.

I have only ridden cobra roll inverts Alpengeist, Dueling Dragons, and Raptor, and none of them really got me.

Top Gun (Carowinds) remains a coaster that I really want to get on at some point in the near future. I've never heard anything bad about that ride, and since I love Montu's batwing so much, I'm sure I'll love Top Gun's as well. One of these days.
