BeastBuzz 2013: The triumphant return!

I'm having second thoughts as I think about the Saturday crowd and the August heat. I'd like to go, and if I do, I'm sure I'll figure something out.

I'm picking up the tab for Yuengling at the event. You're welcome. :)

I don't think that was for me but to paraphrase Count Dracula...I never drink....beer.

We're supposed to thank you for buying us really crappy tasting beer?

You'll get no thanks from me.

Crap. Now I want to go, just for the free Yuengling.

Shades, it is probably the highest quality beer available at the park.

I turned down Bud Light, OK?

Sorry my post above was so blunt.

It may be high quality but it doesn't taste good to me. I have tried 2-3 of their beers and I didn't care for any of them. I guess if I go this year everyone will know who I am - the weird dude drinking Bud Light! Or maybe I can smuggle in some Arrogant Bastard Ale. Don't get me wrong, I really like beers with more flavor than Bud Light, Yuengling just doesn't do it for me.

Didn't KI used to have Leinenkugel?

Fortunately, you don't have to pay for it or drink it.

There will be beer at the gathering? Oh nos. I hope there will not be any kids there.

( ;) )

I only like Killian's for some reason. Not that I drink much at all anyways.

I don't understand why people go crazy for Yuengling but it is an awesome social keg beer.

I think it has to do with people wanting what they can't have. Yuengling is not available in most states.

Or, some people just like it. Difficult concept to grasp, I know.

Why so serious?

Me? Never.

And that's kind of the point of this event. Back in the day I found it to be an awesome social experience. Mike essentially had his bachelor party at it in 2005! I always liked it because it was kind of big, but it was never too big. I'm hoping for that vibe this year.

I'll get the details, itinerary and ticket links up soon. Those of you who are train nerds are going to love it!

That is the problem with today's generation. Back in my day any keg was an awesome social beer. Mmmm...Milwaukee's Best. Those were the days:)

Night time ERT? Will we be closing the Beast at 1am like the good ol' days?

I've always thought that was the best tasting beer around, although I've never heard of Yuengling's before. My favorite brand of beer is called Free Beer. For some reason it always tastes so much better when someone else is buying.

Train nerds?

Hmmm....
