The one at Lake Compounce probably went slower then Knoebels does during it's seatbelt check(before it actually gets going).
One thing is for sure, if there really is a "no snapping" rule, there is gonna be a riot at PPP.
I'll try again this Sunday.
carnage: I have to agree with that statement. As much as I LOVE The Lake, they definitely have the most lackluster flying scooters around. Too bad, they have quite a history. If I'm not mistaken, those were at West View Park, Idora Park and Kennywood before making their way to CT.
Unfortunatly, as Knoebel's popularity has grown, so have the instances of vandalism....its been a tough year for the mantainance department...
mOOSH [and now back to the topic at hand]
Why would a ride op flag me down and tell me about the sign and say they put it up because too many little kids are egtting hurt. I doubt they get hurt from moving the sail too fast. I know when I fly several times a night my lower back gets/got sore from it bouncing off the back of the seat durring a good snap.
Grover do you still work at Knoebels and if so what rides usually?
I guess it will remain a mystery for another day! *** Edited 8/21/2004 1:45:17 PM UTC by coasterpunk***

I hope that prediction is right, Moosh. At least the prediction about overreacting.
I had some pretty good snaps. I heard some lady yelling while I was on but couldn't make out what she was saying. Chris sits out the Flyers and he told me she was all excited because she swore I hit the trees.
I guess all the suspense is over, and everyone can return from the edges of their seats.
I'm relieved to hear that you were able to get rides like the ones we are all used to. Hitting the trees? Sounds like good times can still be had on the Flyers. Thanks for the update and for calming us down!
