Haven't you ever said to someone, "man your sad". It was just a joking type statement.
I mean I really love coasters too. When it come to my hobbies, it's a 3 way tie between sports, my pets, and coasters. Geeze, everyone relax!

So many coasters, so little vacation time....
Agreeing with Rollerfreak, again, I defer you to page 1 and my comments there...

Rollerfreak, I think part of the problem is the age differences. I remember being a teen and thinking everything I said, and everything anyone said to me, very seriously. Mostly because I wanted to be taked seriously as a teen myself.
Enjoy the coasters people! Enjoy your life! Enjoy all! Love each other! Love your pets! ROCK AND ROLL!!!!

I have to agree with Pantera! I know a guy who sleeps in his car 6 months out of the year to travel around the country riding coasters. Coasters clearly ARE his life, and I'd dare anyone to call his life sad, he is having the time of his life.
Not everyone needs the same things out of life, so remember when you start acting like you have it all together that not everyone wants YOUR life either. ;)

Snoopy Rocks! On Ice opens on June 22nd
Think they'll let me drive the Zamboni machine?
It's like HomeyG (I think) said, coasters aren't "my life". I have many other things that *must* come first. (God, wife, family, job, mortgage, ect.) On the other hand if they are yours, more power to you.

Roller coasters are a big part of my life, but not too major. I mean, they still are major, but it's not like I'm addicted to them or anything. I still go on roller coaster websites almost every night, and try to get to the park as much as possible, but...
Sounds like you're in denial (hehe)
Maybe we should all go to "Roller Coasters Anonumis" "Hello, my name is Travis and I am a Coaster-holic." (lol)

...and here I am, posting "me too" like some brain-dead AOLer....stealing a sig has GOT to be among the highest forms of flattery, no...but then again, it was heisted, too....does "original thought" really exist - I kinda think not....;). I'd quote Marley or Jesus or Ghandi or the Dalai Lama here, but it'd only be redundant.....moderation in all things, including excess...;)....Have a Great Day!

In fact, I beg my kids to not even consider for a second the life of a musician.
I always tell kids, when they ask me about being a musician or being a music major in college, that unless you absolutely MUST do it, you shouldn't. The life is not one that I recommend. I was on the road for three years, and while I loved the memories, I wouldn't do it now.

Mark - What band did you tour with? I'd imagine that it's ska. Just curious, as our paths may have crossed if you played in Chicago.
I don't think I ever worked with nasai.
