Good points about the "boat" idea for Thanksgiving....I'd love to see a new Huss Pirate or Mack Sea Storm...I've never been to a park with a Sea Storm.
Most parks don't want to add older flats like those, so I'd love to see them at HW.
Good point on the Spider too...I thought it was very odd that the Spider of all things, wasn't in the Halloween section.
Likely a new ride for Splashin' Safari. When I was there in late July I noticed construction markers while in line for Bakuli.
I was never really a fan of the Thunder Bumpers, even as a young child. They have very low capacity, leading to long waits, and there really isn't that much excitement in it (IMO), because unless you are headed full speed at another rider from all the way across the pool, the splash from the collision is minimal.....but that's just me.
BTW, I truly believe that if HW adds a water coaster (like Deluge) to Splashin Safari next year, they will defenitely take lead of the water park industry!
I noticed that not only did she mention the "leak" and "slip" she placed a LOT of linked terms (dashes). Also there were (s) after all those term(s). SO that means more than one new attraction. I bet that "t" and "i" has something to do with it. After some research I am sure I will have an idea.
Mind you, even a tiny difference, such as that between 0 and 0.000126, can make a world of difference.
I bet "t' & "i" have nothing to do with it.
I say Splashin Safari addition, it seems to draw in the most people and they just added a small flat to the Thanksgiving day section. As much as I'd love to see another coaster (yeah right) or thrill ride, I just see some sort of giant play boat thing for a kids section of the water park, a la Donald's Boat at MK.
What would I really like to see HW get?
Other than the obvious *insane powerful* flat ride ;) - I'd like to see a continuation of the restroom upgrades....Xlerator hand dryers.

^No, I don't work for them....yet! ;)
The first time I saw one of the excelerator hand dryers was at Cedar Point. I was "blown away" ;) at how powerful they were. They put standard hand dryers to shame.
Honestly, those things scare me! I mean, that is WAY too much force on your hands! :)
I can't wait to find out what the atleast 2 attractions are. I just know the word design(S) was used. I know when I was the park last weekend, a ride opt thought they were getting the water wars like Indiana Beach and Dollywood. Time will tell.
I'm still holding out for a Rocket Slide for Splashin' Safari, but I'm not going to get my hopes up.
Well Paul usually has a pretty good idea of what is going on. So Thunder Bumpers could very well be gone. WIth Paula mentioning leak, slip, kills, I could imagine some type of water battle. 2 or more attractions. I don't see a pirate ship its not high thrill its not a people eater, its not very family. IF there is a pirate ship it will not be the only flat ride. So possibly a water battle and 2 or more flat rides. Could this be the year we finally get a carousel?
Mind you, even a tiny difference, such as that between 0 and 0.000126, can make a world of difference.
Pirate ship screams family to me and the capacity wouldn't be that much different from what rides are already at the park. No idea if that's what's coming but I wouldn't rule it out based on that.
Regarding the hand dryers, I have a memory of the Voyage bathrooms having those in their first year. Am I imagining things, or did they swap those out after one year?

I just read on the holiblog that they're going to have the splashcam live for all of us tom. :) Showing the groundbreaking in the waterpark.

^I think this is very likely if Paula said that it is something she had always wanter. That, or a ferris wheel......
Still holdiing out for my Swinging Ship and Water-Coaster! :)
It would be interesting to see a Turkey / Thanksgiving themed Carousel. :)
Paula said the new "transition cam" should be positioned towards the location of the new attraction. Since it's pointing toward Splashin' Safari, it appears that the new attraction will be going there. Granted, the cam could rotate at 10:59 as well. But, I'm just throwing that bit of info out there. :)

When/where did I say that?
(I'm not making fun of the typo...I just don't remember editorializing.)
Paula
I thought you were the queen of editorializing, Paula? By the way, I loved the pic of you with the sun in your eyes. :)
