From The Verge:
Today, the company announced a lot more information about the practical aspects of the Galactic Starcruiser experience, including a first look at pricing — and like the fictional Westworld theme park, it looks like Disney’s real world immersive Star Wars hotel will be limited to the extremely wealthy, with a two-night stay starting at $4,809 for two adults.
For the official details, visit the official Star Wars Galactic Star Cruiser site.
This can probably be seen as a once in a lifetime destination for many people. My jaw drops when I watch YouTube and see how much people pay for stuff at the Star Wars areas, like personalized light sabers and droids. I'm sure people will pay $5k for a an immersive Star Wars hotel experience.
I'm interested in watching people on YouTube do this. I'm sure the kayfabe will be epic.

Universal suggests you could buy churros instead.
Heh. Their top level hotels aren’t exactly cheap either.
That strategy was completely worth it though, even though it took decades to follow through on. The original three hotels are pretty nice with Contemporary Resort-like access to the parks. Eventually they landed on the somewhat cheaper rooms further out, including the new buildings on the former water park site.

Count me in. Did GE for my 50th and it was an amazing time.
I do a lot of cruises, this is just the next logical step for me I guess. :)
My only beef with it is one thing. Why do I have to be recruited by The Resistance? I've always identified as an Empire/First Order kind of guy.

And if they all spend on drinks like I do whilst cruising, that's some great math.

The itinerary indicates that on the morning of the second day there will be an excursion to Galaxy's Edge. Will this be a kind of ERT where that area is closed to the public every other day? Otherwise it seems like it would kill the illusion to disembark at Batuu and encounter a bunch of folks in "I'm with Stupid" t-shirts.
No, because one of the included meals is at the big counter service location, so you'll definitely be with stupid. 🤣 I mean, you'll be with other (affluent) tourists, er, "passengers," anyway.
