Well the fact that it's going bye-bye is official because it's already gone. Enthusiasts in the area have been posting photos of cranes taking it apart and taking it down over the last week. I realized my last post is unclear when I said nobody saw it getting demolished... I just meant that nobody knew if it's getting moved somewhere, the way CF likes to pass problems around sometimes, or trashing and demolishing it.
It looks like CGA recently submitted an application for a permit for a 100' roller coaster. Coincidentally, Lightning Run has a 100' drop. That reminds me of a rumor I heard of a Chance Hyper GT-X going into Michigan's Adventure awhile back. Chance Rides kinda fits the mystery manufacturer too. Sorry Michigan's Adventure fans. (especially Timber-Rider) Maybe you'll get Knott's Boomerang. (Since Dorney already has an Invertigo)
For what little it's worth: I've taken several laps on Lightning Run and absolutely loved it.
SF 49ers fans would finally have something to get excited about.

I just want a damn Hyper GT-X to go in ANYWHERE.
I "liked" this, but that seems woefully inadequate. Did at the time, still does.
There are some swirling rumors for 2018...but I've heard nothing *concrete.*
You still have Zoidberg.... You ALL have Zoidberg! (V) (;,,;) (V)
To be honest, I'm surprised that they haven't tried to do an RMC conversion of Grizzly... Isn't it considered to be one of the worst wooden coasters out there?
Raptor track would be cool, but I also feel like CGA always has rumors flying around that don't end up panning out for one reason or another... So who knows.
Fingers crossed, it would be nice to see that park start to head in a more positive direction.
