Holy crap balls! Michigan's Adventure is adding a new attraction for the 2016 season to commemorate their 60th anniversary!
'Funland Farm' opens May 27 - September 5, 2016.
YYYYYYYYESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!
I would not call this a new attraction. I would call it recycled Deer Park Funland. And, if it is where they say it is going to be located, it's not going to be very big, and another attraction In the baking hot sun. Those poor animals. If anyone knows where the Mad Mouse is, it is right on the edge of the parking lot. I'm guessing the old location of Falling star. Not much shade there.
I'm so glad its free with admission, even though MA is charging $4.00 more for admission than last year. Enjoy the free savings on petting goats and critters. That $4.00 increase will buy a lot of critter food. I think bringing back the old spider ride would have been more exciting. But, at least it's something someone might enjoy.
I didn't do it! I swear!!
If you are familiar with the lack of shade at MA, you would know it is a big concern. I have had many painful sunburns just spending a few hours at MA, even when I have my sunscreen on thicker than KISS makeup. I still get burnt. So, you can imagine how much easier it would be for small children to be burnt. I would bet the shade factor would be nil. Look at their beer garden. Not a garden at all, just a slab of cement, with a few tented tables.
Cedar fair has spent so little on anything at MA, I cant image it being anything more than an animal barn and a fence. probably with a stand that sells animal food for $3.00 a pop.
I didn't do it! I swear!!
How does sunscreen work everywhere except at Michigan's Adventure? Perhaps you should buy a higher SPF?
Plus, who cares?

Really, this is just another line in the really long list of reasons why he should never ever go there again.
While I can think of better, (let's say more scenic) places to put a petting farm at MA, I'm sure it can be cute and a nice attraction even in the shadow of the Mad Mouse. And I promise they won't let the animals burn to death the way they let the humans do.
The one at CP turned out swell. The new one at KI is ok, but what a stench wafting over the midway.
I've decided to accept that, like Miley Cyrus's popularity and why Little Caesar's is still in business, TR's ongoing interest in a park he seems to have no love for is one of the indecipherable mysteries of life.
Perhaps he buys his sunscreen at the dollar store? It would be one of the few things I'd probably not buy at a dollar store....
Sorry, MAC, next time I'll stay downwind of you on the Midway :-)

It is a mystery. As much as he whines about it, why keep going back? That makes no sense to me. There must be some positives that he isn't telling us that keeps him going. But, with his financial situation, the bigger mystery is how he can afford to go there.
And Little Caesar's pizza is good. Their $5 Hot N' Ready pizzas are an unbeatable deal.
