While 14 day/14 parks are not my cup o tea, I find it hilarious you're making fun of someone for doing that on an enthusiast website dealing with parks and coasters. Seems like he's having fun. Do you?

It comes across as ultradouchey eliteism. "I only post on coaster sites, you're weird for liking it so much and doing what you like."

I'm making fun of someone for going to subjectively-absurd lengths to enjoy their hobby while he's simultaneously insulting others for going to subjectively-absurd lengths to enjoy their hobby.

If he had simply said "Hey guys, I love coasters so much I visited 14 parks in 14 days and I had a great time. Welp, see ya later!", I would have done nothing but slowly back out of the room.

I took it as a joke that was worth a chuckle, and nothing more. Hell, I cringed at the 14 parks in 14 days, too, and actually thought about making a similar comment. There was a time I'd be all about a crazy trip like that, but now? I'd probably be miserable by day 3.

As much as we "make fun" of the stereotypical coaster enthusiast on here (see my above comment that you voted up), I don't really get what you're all bent about.

It came across as condescending I thought. There's satin jacket ACEholes, and there's a two week vacation. I gathered from the way he types hes probably much younger than most of the rest of us regulars. Ten years ago I'd likely have done two weeks of parks.
